VF 5 onlin on 360, but 1 big problem

Unfortunately that is true. I love my 360, but the D-pad is awful. The fighting sticks help that though.

Yea well, the 360 version will also suck because the rumble will make the controller fly off your hands and hit the powerbrick and make it explode and burn down your house!

No really, as a x360 owner the d-pad will ruin the game, online it will be worse. I will still prefer the PS3 version. Plus, the PS3 once can be found for $39.99 retail

Not really. SC4, SSF2T: HD Remix, VF5, SF Anniversay Collection. The cost of the arcade stick will even itself out in the long run if you are a fighting fan.

I've tried. I've spent countless hours on DOA4. SF2 was a bust too. Its not for me. I liked the d-pad on the xbox though.

Why did Microsoft decide to design the D pAd like that, it really is just...inconvenientR-Dot-Yung

i like it in most games. Games like Gears of war where the dpad is used to cycle weapons...it let's me roll through them quickly.

That D-pad is the worst.

But its hard for that not to sound like damage control. Sorry.

there is NO big problem.

any fan of console fighting games owns a Hori gamepad -- which kicks the dpad woes. the same applies to the PS3 fighter lovers, sixxaxi sucks for fighting games too. better than 360 dpad, but still sucks.

Well there is also DOA 4, UMK3, and SF HF II and SC4 that you can use the stick with. You don't count it for one game unless it's the only game you plan to use it for.

I felt was the same until I used an arcade stick.

IMO, a hardcore fighter fan would own one not only because it's better than any controller d-pad, but also because it's closer to a real arcade stick

Crappy D pad or no, the 360 certainly looks to be the better version. Your damage control is as weak as the 360 d pad that you dispise so much.heretrix

The D-Pad is fine.. n00blets around here just try to use it against the 360 because it's not just a cross pad it's got that little round thing on it.

Was I the only one who really despised the PS d-pad? Lack of diagonals and solid ties between the direcitional buttons made it a bit of a pain to use compared to the DC (which IMO has a better d-pad).
