I thought I kick butt using Jacky Bryant but when I watch spectator mode cpu vs cpu..OMG VF5 is like the fastest fighting game ever created. 45 second rounds, cpu pummels one another within 20 seconds or less. The fighters move so damn fast. Akira is super fast. Heck even the huge wrestlers stereotypical slow fighters, Wolf, Jeffrey...OMG they are super fast. No one character is slow if VF. I can see how Sega kept this game off line.any lag will kill it..but still wish they had the option.

Although the game is fast you realize DOA4 is a lot faster and more aggressive right? Hmm I would even bet to say DOA3 is played at a more fast pace. Let me check on that.

Tekken is more aggressive, no block button equals a lot of offense. :)

The loads times kind of suck. Why won't Sony let people use DVD9 at all? I just don't get it...

Load times aside, Virtua Fighter 5 is one of the best fighters I've ever played.

In between saving replays, switching menus, and loads it takes approx 1.3 minutes between fights. *Has it*

Did you install the Game Data into your hard drive? The longest loading time for me is when I start up the game and it loads the game data.

of course he's lying, he's a Sony fanboy, he'll say anything that'll make the ps3 look good. & yes, VF is one hell of a game, it wouldn't stand a chance online without screwing up. you guys may wave DOA & Tekken as being faster, but VF is so damn precise.

One of DoA's selling points may be eye candy, but that wears off after about the first two seconds of you getting your face smashed in cus you weren't paying attention to the fight. plus i thought people got over the fact that DoA is a TnA game after like the second game.

I know, what's the point in seeing the fight when you don't even have to actually watch to win. You can just literally "palm" the controller, play blind folded and win.

Any fighting game can be won by repeatedly pressing the right keys at an overwhelming rate. Right? Now, if you see me doing that, it's not because the game I'm playing is crap. On the contrary. It's because I am trying and failing to pull off a specific move.

It looks like button mashing but it's a coordinated attempt to control the character.

The games are so fast you never get to see them.

I know, what's the point in seeing the fight when you don't even have to actually watch the fight to win. You can just literally "palm" the controller and play blind folded and win.

Did someone tell you that? Don't you know that people tell lies -- especially when they're humbled? Don't pay attention to cow fanboy anti-DOA cliches. None are true.

If you close your eyes even on an easy setting you'll get your ass handed to you.

At least you're not denying that palming is effective.

Not always. And I like to see you try button smashing in Street Fighter III: Third Strike or Virtua Fighter 5. Virtua Fighter 4 preferably, because I think that game is harder.

[QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]Maybe you're just lucky or are lieing? I'm sitting here playing as that Muay Thai guy against my buddy in an item match. It is taking fooooreeeverrr to get between matches.Kook18
of course he's lying, he's a Sony fanboy, he'll say anything that'll make the ps3 look good. & yes, VF is one hell of a game, it wouldn't stand a chance online without screwing up. you guys may wave DOA & Tekken as being faster, but VF is so damn precise.

I lol'ed. Don't talk if you do not own a PS3 and VF5. Try asking anybody who owns VF5 if it takes a really long time to load a level. Your probably a 360 fanboy who doesn't like to hear anything good about the PS3. Right?

[QUOTE="sm66612"][QUOTE="Vandalvideo"]And about 2 minute loads in between those fights. *Is a sad panda*

WTF! VF5 loads really fast on my PS3.

there are no real load screens in DOA 4.They are like 2 seconds and that's it.
