Why do I have nostalgia for games that are just sitting in my backlog?

How are you nostalgic if you've never played them?

The Last of Us looks pretty legit for a PS1 game but Bioshock looks like it just had a filter added on; no way it would look like that and run even remotely playable on PS1.

My point exactly......

I would actually pay full price for a TLOU demake on a physical PS1 disk. (and yet I won't do that for the remake on PS4)

And I can remember when graphics like that were considered cutting edge, heh :P

The Last of Us one is awesome, but the graphics are way too good on the Bioshock pic.

Personally, I love the Watchdogs one. Somebody put a lot of work into that.

Reminds me of Spider Man 2 on PS1.

I still play PS1 from time to time. Neither game would look that good on PS1.

Super Smash Land demake of Smash Bros. A tremendous demake of Smash, I am so surprised that Nintendo hasn't stepped in and said something about it in the years it has been around.

Looks like normal console games to me.

I'm actually digging the Bioshock one.

Sorry, sarcasm doesn't necessarily translate all that way across the interwebs. You'd be surprised how many people on these forums say stuff like that and are completely serious.
