Virtua Fighter 5 360 review-Am I late?

For crying out loud gamespot.... you're docking the score because the best way to play an arcade game is with an arcade stick, and they cost $60?

i rented the game and god its horrible should of gotten the simpsons game

Why in God's name would anyone play this with the 360 controller.

That joypad is the most wretched, horrible POS ever sharted into existence.

Another thing, how does anyone play a fighter like VF or Tekken online? The slightest amount of lag in a game like this is totally, completely game-breaking.

The only way to really play a fighter properly is with a group of buddies, a bottle of bourbon and a sack of weed.

Although I agree that GS's reviews are bad at times, you are missing the point entirely.

The VF series was playable on DC, it was playable on PS2's Dpad, and it was playable on PS3's Dpad.

This Version for 360 is NOT. EVEN SEGA REALIZED this and ADDED FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, Analog support.

Too bad the game is TOO DEEP to be a simple analog fighter like DOA.

The problem is the TERRIBLE DPAD the 360 sports.

I have the game, and yes the D-pad is not great, but the analog stick is even worse. I flipped back and forth to VF4 - PS2 and and the D-pad is solid there, this is Microsoft's fault for making the D-Pad too stiff, sometimes its hard to do moves that require (forward, back, hit) because the D-pad doesn't seem to connect at times. The game itself nice, and vividly beautiful, and makes VF4 look completely dated.c_smithii

That's why many 360 playing friends bought VF5 on PS3, since it blows on 360 due to the Dpad. YOu can't just buy one arcade stick with a Clique like that, NO ONE would ever play you if you had this great ttick and they are relegated to a 360 dpad.

On the other hand, PS users can stand their own ground against Stick owners with their Dpad.

VF-5 (Xbox360) is already AAA now. (Average Critic Ratings= %91.7)

VF5 is a mile better than DOA 4 but this lame review system does no justice to anybody reading them.

Can't trust gamerankings, can't trust Gamespot, you certainly can't trust IGN. For me Gametrailers seem to be the only people who know what they are talking about.

It never deserved AAA status... dont know why lemms were hyping it AAA. it just cant be a better deal than DOA 4... the only thing that will dethrone it is DOA5ByFly

VF5 is not another "easy to dominate" fighting games. Hard to Learn.It is already AAA in Gamerankings (Average critics)
