Virtua Fighter 5 PS3 Launch Title!

"this month's EGM magazine is confriming Virtua Fighter 5 as a Playstation 3 launch title. This should not surprise anyone, as it was rumored before now. Good news though."

It looks like PS3 will have a stong launch. Warhawk, GTA, Killzone, now VF5.

Never been big on Virtua Fighter (been a Capcom and Tekken gamer), but I'm willing to give it a chance.

Wait....a while back, someone mentioned Tekken Tag Tournament 2 as a PS3 launch title.

How can I say PS3 launch games will be AAA?  The same way lemmings said the 360 will have "teh best launch EVAR!!!11!"....except, I'll be right.  The PS2 had 3 AAA titles at launch.

Nothing pre-release can be officially confirmed AAAs....that's why it's called "hyping".  I think it's a strong possibility that 2 or 3 of those titles will be AAA, fulfilling the usual 2 or 3 AAA launch standards.

As much as these possible launch titles are making my head explode in excitement, it is overkill. Grand Theft Auto will overshadow all of those (obviously) and maybe they should separate some of those games for like 6-8 months after the PS3 is released (like GTA4) to keep the momentum going.

You lemmings hyped DOA4 to death (and it flopped LMAO). Virtua Fighter & Tekken are two of the greatest fighting series ever made. If you lemmings can hype trash like DOA4, then cows have a good reason to hype actual AAA fighting games.

UT2007 may be on PC, but that didn't stop you lemmings from hyping cod2 (flawp) Quake 4 (biggest flop of next gen so far) and many other pc ports.

It's funny how lemmings are acting like they don't care, yet last year they were always bragging about how VF5 was going to be on 360.

Lemmings dream about having a REAL fighting game exclusive to their console.
