Vita knocks New 3DS LL out of first place #mediacreate

Thanks to four new titles, one of which was God Eater 2: Rage Burst, PlayStation Vita has knocked New 3DS LL out of the top slot on the Media Create charts in Japan.

The handheld, which came in thrid place last week, moved 35,203 units for the February 16-22 period, compared to 10,901 units the prior week.

PlayStation 4, which tends to hold the second slot on the chart more often than not as of late, moved 24,737 units, up from 21,381 last week.

New 3DS LL took third place with with 23,466 units moved, down from 41,821 during Majora’s Mask 3D launch week.

Elsewhere on the hardware chart, all platforms saw a decline save for Xbox One, which moved 1,381 units compared to 191 for the week ending February 15.

On the software end, God Eater 2 moved 272,004 units combined on Vita and PS4, the latter of which landed in third place. In second was Majora’s Mask 3D, which moved an additional 71,181 units for the week.

PS4 title The Order: 1886 moved 25,023 units, and Dead or Alive 5: Last Round debuted in fifth and eighth place with the PS4 version moving 24,457 units and PS3 11,271 for a combined total of 35,728 units.

its not gonna outsell 3DS overall, every kid under 10 has one of those but it reminds me of the dreamcast and believe it or not that is a compliment (love the dreamcast despite sales)
