The platform holder declined to offer specific Vita data in its first quarter financial report yesterday, instead bundling together Vita and PSP sales, which came in at just 600,000, down from 1.4 million in the same period a year earlier.

Never would have guessed.

I think the Vita has a lot of potential. I'm considering buying one down the line simply because i'll get a ton of free games with my PS+ subscription.

I would've bought a Vita in february if it weren't for those ludicrous prices. They are even more insane than the PSP memory cards because at least then you could chooses between Sandisk or Sony, now Sony is your only choice.

Vita will be fine once it and its memory cards get a price drop. It is easy to market because its not a toy like Wiiu.

With a price cut? I agree.

The 3DS is in a better software situation than the Vita, but it isn't exactly setting the world on fire there-especially outside of Nintendo IPs. It did jack and squat until Nintendo cut the price.

The problem with Sony and Handhelds is that they just seem to port console experiences to them. I don't know why anyone wants to play a watered down console game on the move, when they can have the real thing at home.

The DS/3DS is a different story, Nintendo finley tune their games to handhelds, although I don't own a 3DS I know theres loads of games I'm mising out. On the Vita front the only game im missing out on is Persona

The Wii U, at least we know it will do well once other big titles hit the market next year. Can't say the same for the Vita, when there's no system seller in sight. Not to mention Sony's attitude towards the system is stink.

Sounds like you forgot how much psp cards were. At psp launch I got a 4gb scandisc card for a $180, while on vita I got a 16gb sony for $60. So how are vita card prices more insane?p4s2p0

use and LED LCD screen...clickable analog sticks and two shoulder buttons. and ability to use sd cards...and sell it for 199$...
