Looking more and more like the 3DS will be unchallenged saleswise this gen.

3DS Sales first 2 days:: 371,326 units

50k less than the 3DS in the same amount of time with launch titles that eclipsed the 3DS' launch list quality wise and during the holiday season.

AtariKid:321K..........very good......it'll outsell the 3ds in every other area.....

So the 3DS had a more successful launch than the Vita in Japan.

Interesting. I think that's a sign for sales to come.

Some earlier thread today on one of those rumors that the PSVita was completely sold out. Going on and on about "victory," listing wikipedia to show that Vita had outsold 3DS (in which I turned around and just changed the numbers on Wiki and asked for a credible source), saying people couldn't read or something and has otherwise straightout stated he was looking forward to the 3DS' failure and Vita's success. He's the kind of person that would be happy to see a company go out of business and thousands of people lose their jobs just to claim "ownage" on SW.

if nintendo were still selling at 250$ then yes sony is in big trouble but its not ,the 3ds is close to 50% cheaper than the 300$ psv with 3g/wifi .

so i think its gr8 numbers is you ask me and since sony has over 16 internal developers around the world and lets not to forget price cuts and bundles and obvously better online service , so i think it will manege to convince us all even the hardcore nintendo fanboys .

so people the battle has just begun lets give both parties atleast a year and then decide which one dominates , although i dont care about the sells number .

With February being an incredibly slow month for video game sales while December is an absolutely massive time for sales.

I just dont see the Vita outselling the 3DS. I will likely buy one down the road, as for now I will stick to my 3DS.

It won't outsell the 3DS by any stretch of imagination, but that doesn't mean it can't be a success.

Well PSP didnt sell as much as DS but it was still a success considering its large install base...

Vita will probably sell less than 3DS but that doesnt mean its not gonna be a success for Sony...
