Still, I went Orange Box. It's an insane amount of high quality content. Plus, the portal end song is enough to make it teh winnar of teh internetz.

I'm almost done with bioshock and no it shouldnt , the core shooting gameplay is the biggest weak point . it takes 5 shotguns shells to bring down a typical splicer

Halo 3 doing alot better in this poll apparently. I'd have to vote for Halo 3 as it's an extrmely well done and complete package. I haven't played Crysis but if I did my vote might change. I can't speak for SMG as I have yet to play it.

I know that you (insert moderatable word here)... thats my point they deserve to be!... COD4 easily surpasses Halo 3 in the SP and MP and as for BioShock... well I'll hold it close to my heart since its been one of those games that I couldn't put down.

They really should have one reviewer per genre... some games when compared to lower scored games really baffle the mind as to why exactly they deserve a higher score.

Hmmmmm. Shooter, shooter, Super Mario Whore, anothershooter, and a puzzle game? Well, might as well pick Crysis then.....

GS is just giving away AAA scores for free, lately. Sheesh, I remember that when the new system was introduced, fanboys were worried that none of their systems were going to be able to get games higher than a 9.0, and that lots of "worthy" games would flop to AA by default, since it would be so hard to get above a 9.0.

Five9.5s already, and they just handed out a 9.0 to a game that has already received two scores in the 7's (Assassin's Creed).

Yea - if you have a Quad-Core CPU, 2 overclocked 8800 GTX's in SLI mode and 4 GB of Ram... then yea, Crysis looks great!
