WTH is going on at Nintendo HQ? Where is the hype for this game? Why is it non-existant?

Are you kidding me, this game is being hyped to death but in a more conservative matter, simply put: i think because everyone knows it will probably score AAA and be the first FPS game for the Wii to set the FPS standard controls.mexicangordo

Swear to God I had no clue. It's one of the only Wii games I was interested in...but the buzz has been so quiet outside of Wii circles, it's been shamefully overshadowed by Bioshock, Madden and the rest of the Fall games.

Hell, even shabby Warhawk and Lair are getting more shine on these forums and elsewhere. I'm shocked I didn't realize this. I'm even more shocked that Nintendo has done so little to market this game. It's launch might have came and went and I would have been oblivious. I just knew this must have been an October/November release.

Who cares? The game looks meh at best. Please don't quote me and say something bad about PS3. I just want one post where I can give an harsh opinion without getting flamed.Shusty_lives

Right now, people are focusing on Bioshock which releases just six days before MP3. After Bioshock is reviewed, we'll start worrying about MP3. A lot.Technoweirdo

It's not just that. Even with Bioshock coming, people are busy talking about Halo, Crysis, UT3, Heavenly Sword, Warhawk, Brawl, etc. etc. etc. It's like this game doesn't even exist, relative to those games.

:shock: I didn't know that! :shock: How time flies! There is a noticeable absence of any hype that I've seen, especially considering this is a huge game for Wii owners. Probably the most important game to come out for the Wii in recent times. Aqua-Vitae

i doubt it'll bomb, based on the number of positive previews.

Personally I don't care how the game is hyped, bashed, and/or marketed.... it's one of my two most anticipated games of this year, I loved the previous Primes to death, and that's all that really matters to me. It really doesn't matter to me how much or how little people know of this game and how much or how little they think about it.

And don't remind me how close it is to release. The closer it gets the slower time seems to pass.... it's like being back in Elementary School as a kid.... the closer the clockgets to quitting time the slower the hands seem to move.

Both BioShock and Prime within a 7 day window? Awesome.

And really, I don't think Nintendo has to worry about "improved" marketing of any of their products as of right now, their sales are sky high across the board.

I never see any threads hyping the actual content of the game, all I see is ''teh controlz!''.

I've seen several Boogie commercials, but I haven't ever seen aPrime 3 commercial. You would think it would be advertised more than Boogie.Shift05

The environments are huge compared to the first two, its less linear making for better combat and is full of replay value.
