on this very website haze is listed as q4 2007 for ps3 and tba for xbox and pc. doesn't mean it won't be a simultaneous release, but sort of looks that way now

It's still timed exclusive. AKA it's coming out on the PS3 first, then 360 later.

I see it the same way. Sony probably came over with some money bags. Wanted an exculsive. Give them this one. Does not have to compete with Halo now and they get a bit of change from it

Actually, I think it's that they're scared of Halo 3, even with all the trashtalking. Haze has absolutely no chance of making a blip on the 360's radar this year. Now, on the PS3, they might even have an amplified market (since non 360 owners might be looking for competition for Halo 3)

I've looked online and there is no actualy direct quote of them saying timed exclusive. The closest they say is "Haze is leading on the PS3 but they are being developed on all 3. The other two will come along."

The problem and question here is, what does this French guy mean by "leading on the PS3?" It could either be due to bad translation, but he said they are indeed making Haze on PS3 as the base console, and then porting it to Xbox 360/PC which are being made at the same time anyways.

So I still don't quite see the 100% confirmed quote out of his mouth that it's a timed exclusive. And even if it is, I dont care. There are already too many games coming out in late 2007 anyways. I just wanted some clarification from some very vague quotes. "Leading on PS3" can mean two things when you think about it.

if that were the case then they would have realesed it on ps3/pc also, this is sony giving them money, this will also cause killzone to be pushed back most likely

It was announced as a timed exclusive about a month ago, being released for PS3 when Halo 3 arrives for X360. Haze for X360 is 2008. They say that whole PS3 install base issue, but really, I just don't think Ubisoft wants to bother releasing a new FPS during Halo's time, cuz it WILL be ignored if they do.Yagami-Iori
