Wait...Gran Turismo 5 STILL isn't out?

Are people seriously still waiting for this game? Do yourself a favor and just pick up Forza. Even if you think it sucks, atleast your playing something.

If the game comes out this year, all will be forgiven in my book and my hype will keep progressing as the year goes on. If it doesn't release this year, the needle on my careometer will definitely start falling towards 0.

If this wasn't an exclusive the hype probably would've waned by now to a degree.

I'm still waiting, and I'll continue to wait for however long it takes. It's not as if there won't be plenty of other games to play until then, and it's not as if they owe me anything.

Lemmings: LOL. Turn 10 came out with 3 AAA titles in the time it took PD to make one game that won't even surpass Forza's 9.5!

Cows: PD are working hard to give us "teh perfection."

Lemmings: At least we actually have a game to play.

Cows: When GT5 comes out and becomes the greatest racing game of all time, lemmings am cry! And we have NASCAR!

I was laughing at it just the other day when I realized we are a month past the 2 year anniversary of the release of GT5P.

my guess is when it releases it will be lucky to get above an 8 here. racing games have simply moved beyond what Poly is able to deliver.

it will look good but everything we expect racers to do will not be there. they have seen they cannot compete with anything that has come out in the last 4 years and just keep trying to catch up and cannot do it and that is the real reason they won't release it

major flaw.We dont all own 360's and before you say buy one or something like that people got other priorities like a car and a £2000 bass rig.

that should happen no matter what even tho i have completed it umpteen times on my mates 360 xD.Mainly cause i own all the PS1 and 2 AC games and my PS3 feels a little lonelly :(

Honestly, this generation has been rather boring with racing games on the PS3. I'm still waiting for GT5 while Grid/Dirt 2/Midnight Club LA were all good games but they simply don't give me the same "fun" as last generation racing titles.

... Damnit I wanna play PGR4 & Forza 3!:cry:

Why can't I play Dirt 2, Burnout Paradise, Grid, NFS: Shift, and even Prologue while I wait for GT5? I dont want to be forced to play Forza.

that game is going to be straight up crap, the only thing going for it is the good graphics,i played the demo and it was the worst racing game i ever played. the controls are hard and horrible (and im a ps3 fan)
