Walmart advert confirms 360 price cut.

So what effect do you guys think this will have on sales?

Well the 360 will sell more units than the PS3, it will be just like before the PS3 dropped it's price. Plus the Core 360 is now cheaper than a WII.XYZVector

Not sure about that. The core was 299 usd, with the price cut I believe that makes it the same as the Wii.

You are correct...if it is cross SKU that would make the 360 Core the same price as a Wii

Are you sure that this just is not a temporary price drop or sale that Wal Mart is doing? Cause you know a lot of stores tend to drop the price for a short period of time in order to clear out old units that have been sitting on the shelves.DSgamer64

then that should mean the Wii will start slowing down in sales, given that a TRUE next gen console is now the same as this so called "modified gamecube"
