I know a lot of you think both will fail, but in the offchance one of them has a chance to suceed what do you think will be better?
Well, the PS3 fanboys at the playstation university gave their opinion

I'm not sure but I would say the Wand only because it works similar to Wii Motion Plus and I know that that works great so if the Wand can replicate that then it would be great. Natal is still a mystery I have to actually try it or see more of it before I can judge that peripheral.
I don't find either particularly appealing but the wand is at least redeemed slightly in being a WM copy.
I don't see Natal enchancing my gaming experience at all..
I don't see any of them being successful but PS wand got a better chance to be successful cuz it was already tested on Wii so now devs got a better knowledge on it and probably Sony 1st party studio will release some great games on it while natal I only see it being used for mini games.
I would go for the Wand being a bigger success.
Only because of what the wiimote has accomplished and eyetoy being a bit of a flop.
Like Sony have said some "games you simply need buttons" and I think Nintendo got this right.
Sony could have evolved the eye toy if they wanted to, but instead have followed Nintendo - it says something.
Natal is more exciting. Wand is just a Wiimote for the PS3.SaltyMeatballs
That's the thing.
A Wii-mote copy or a next-gen Eyetoy (yeah, that's exacty what Natal is)
i had the eyetoy when thatcame out and it rly suked so i thnk that natal prly wnt be much better. so im prly gona hav to with the wand on this 1
I guess Wand, because if you don't have a controller things would get really tricky.
But I condemn both of them.
Natal did win all types of awards this year while the Gem didn't. Last thing I need is more controllers taking space in my setup. So I prefer this Natal camera thing since I haven't owned any console cameras before and I can easily put it next to the Wii sensor bar. So far I plan to use the Natal casually to navigate through the menus when watching movies and play whatever games they will have for it whenever lots of friends are over casually.
He makes a good point about the space required for Natal. I know it's speculation, but it something to consider.
I disagree with him about the delay with Smash Brothers Online. I never experienced delay playing online from my input to the screen. The whole game may freeze or a game gets dropped, but when its working well its flawless for me
same people why forgot about the sixxis motion control.. or the same people who forgot about the ps3 eye motion controls. sony doesnt supports its toys as well as its system. if it dont catch fire quik then they use another match. main reason natal will be better is that the wands needs the ps3 eye to work. and lets face it, the ps3 eye just plan sucks. i cant even use it as a mic because the ecco is so bad it drives people nuts and it makes my head hurt. and it cant even read eye of judment cards right.I don't see any of them being successful but PS wand got a better chance to be successful cuz it was already tested on Wii so now devs got a better knowledge on it and probably Sony 1st party studio will release some great games on it while natal I only see it being used for mini games.

almost every video of natal i seen . the dude states that natal can ajust to any size play area.[QUOTE="oajlu"]
neither, they both suck.
only fanboy would waste $100 on such jxnk

Only a fanboy would condemn something without release, and with little to no info on game implementation.
Meh... I'm somewhat pre-condemning both... for the fact that neither currently appears to have a D-Pad... severely limiting design of natal- or wand-only games.I'm just more skeptic than optimist...
Natal.
More flexible.
It is not just going o be mplemented for the Xbox360 but Windows 7 as well.
-conferences
-menu interaction
-powerpoint presentations
TV manufacturers are alos getting into it.- Hitachi will implement a "natal" like motion control for their TVs next year.
Natal will have more exposure as it is on a bigger install base, will be on Windows and some consumers will recognise natal like motion tech because it is implemented on some tvs.
My money is on Natal having a greater chance of success.
*Note- one made the remark about Xbox360 users buying anything also contributes to it's success and is very telling that games, perripherral potentially more successful on the Xbox360 over the PS3.
i have to be honest, am interested in neither of them... I'll wait to see some games being shown for both first but as it is right now am only looking forward to the awesome games coming out in 2010 on both consoles..
