how is this ownage? The PS2 was also a movie platform as well. So was the XBOX. they both played movies, and were super computers in their era for the price. Ownage is not approved.

Sorry but last time I checked...PC's a far more powerful than any game consoles ever being... Sony hyping themselfs is funny in it's own right. Making out like there BBQ's better than it really is...:lol:

how?  the PS2s and Xboxs games were on DVD right?  that is a movie format.  The PS3 uses bluray disks for games which is also a Movie format.  If all its games are on bluray, then how can it be more of a movie machine? 

The Bluray format isn't just sony.  its Disney and Miramax and Paramount and Fox etc.  they all joined to make this format for HD content so they don't have to pay royalties to Philips for DVDs and HDDVDs.
