WARHAWK gets a great score from EDGE ( and a little comment about PS3 games )

IT GOT 8 ;) and a 8 from EDGE is like 9 to gamespot and other sites , Bioshok got the same score too

and it seems Heavenly sword got an 6 but oh well you know what some games flops , even in the 360 and the Wii

who thought that blue dragon would flop ? but it did happen , and BOOGE anyone ? sheeps were hyping this sh*t and look how it ended .

Is the latest Edge mag out already? I'll have to pick it up, although I prefer GamesTM.

I'm disappointed about Heavenly Sword though, was looking forward to that one. Looks like Uncharted will be the main highlight in the action/adventure genre for the PS3 this year.

Good news for Warhawk fans though.

i don't know abut gamespot forums but everywhere else boogie was hyped as a good game and it ended bieng SUCKAG

Like said great score for an online only game! Let's see if it lives up to the hype here though. 8.0 to 8.5 score is required to make the haters hush.

Every other publication is to be ignored then, eh? And as has been pointed out, Edge also gave your AAA-hyped game Heavenly Sword a 6/10. I love how selective and choosy cows are with their self-ownage.

I'm looking at the online database for their reviews, and man, are these guys harsh! Take a look.

Warhawk getting 8 is pretty interesting. Looks like it could actually do well on GS. I'm still disappointed about HS though.

It does, but people are downplaying it by not reading the reviews. It's disgusting how people can make their choice based on a tiny number.

And the only 9 they have gifted to a game this year is Zelda Phantom Hourglass.

Can I use the phrase that all fanboys use if and when a game on their system scores low (or high) from another site/mag...."Why don't we wait for the GS score before we claim anything???" .... Really though do scores really mean all that much?? Seriously as another poster said above, who cares what a game scores? If you play the game and you have FUN playing it, who cares what other people think?? Games are made to entertain the people who play the game and if a game entertains you no matter what it has scored, just embrace it and enjoy it.moohan

Thats a good point considering Heavenly Sword was supposed to be a really important title for the PS3 and its fans. Its a bit ironic that WarHawk in contrast which seemed more of a sixaxis and PSN tech demo originally has become a well recieved decent game.

Pitty about Heavenly Sword, it seems this type of game is typically difficult to get right for developers as was ninty nine nights (or what ever it was called) and the upcoming X360 game Too Human,which has been in development for years. On the other hand theres a certain poetic justice for all the stick the cows dished out on Too Human saying it was gonna be crap in comparison.

Either way well done with WarHawk, sounds like a good game.
