warhawk is worthless now

My God people are blind here. He wasnt saying that you needed to play the beta to know there's no single player. He basically said what I said. If you havent played the beta, how the hell can you be the judge of it? Try to play the game and then you can talk. And if you dont like it, well dont buy it, simple as that-L-U-I-S-

Interesting. The majority of the cows didnt play the halo 3 beta and boy were they "criticising" it. How come the same morals and rules dont apply to the cows? Its like.....rules only apply to them.....when it works out for them. :shock:

a better comparison would be Unreal Tournament. but Warhawk is nowhere near UT's class.

Has this game been announced to be a PSN title or is it coming out in stores or both? I thought I read it was both but you got some bonus material or something for buying it off PSN. Just curious, thanks.dhjohns

Technically, you can solo in WoW, so that game actually has a single player component to it. Getting back to the TC, yeah, welcome to a year ago, and how is it worthless? It might be fun. By the way, I have a couple friends who are currently ADDICTED to Shadowrun on the 360. I think that the gamespot review of that game had some pen & paper/old school Shadowrun rpg fanboy backlash to it. Anyway, I'm not writing Warhawk off just because it is multi-player only. It's worthless to someone who doesn't have internet access, but it might be cool for those who have it.

Other then MMORPGS... I perfer Single Player to Multiplayer... maybe I just don't care about owning people, or would rather have an engrossing story then just mindless trash talking and competing for no reason.

I like the box art. :) I like the looks of Warhawk.

they just released more beta invites to the public. this game confirms how awesome it is. haters havent played it

Starfox 64 ever played it? It was a scifi flight shooter and it had multiplayer, but the single player was what made it good. Also less than half of all consoles are taken online.

Have you ever played Starsiege Tribes v1. That game was online only and I bought it retail for$50 and played it almost every day for 3 years. Now that is value right there. Soback to you, is single-player that important to you? if yes, you should look elsewhere instead of telling everyone that you cannot handle online-only games.

Don't fight change. Accept it. Adapt to it. Online is where it is at. People spending more time online than watching tv. Online is the next medium. So online games are good too. Look at 360, they have big online base. Why fight it?

don't forget.... warhawk also has split-screen multiplayer online. what more do you expect?

You know what else is a joke? The flying in Warhawk. The controllers feels clunky. It doesn't use the sixaxis well enough. But the running and gunning when you're not flying is addictive.
