Warhawk sounds interesting...Why don't Cows hype it?

I hear so much about sales in SW that its easy to forget that the most important thing in this war is games. I saw a video of Warhawk on accident and heard about the gameplay concept and this is pretty interesting, I gotta admit. Not 600 dollars interesting, but definitely something I thought cows would grasp on, as opposed to something like Killzone which only aspires to compete with Halo.

Warhawk is different. Why didn't you guys tell us that the environments changed and expanded the longer you kept the territories?

It's not shiny enough, comparisons would start. Most likely with Gears, I'm freakin' pumped for Warhawk but I do remember quite a lot of hype when the new videos on GTrailers was released but as always it was just smacked down by legions of lemmings.

Edit: I swear to god, that annoys me so much. 'It's good, but not 600 dollar good.' 'Good graphics, but not 600 good'. What the hell is that supposed to mean.

Agreed....that is my number 1 gripe that made me lose interest in the game completely, as the single player campaign is the main reason that I buy games in the first place. Another reason is that it is only going to be availible as a download only, so for me at least, Warhawk is not even close to being on my radar of wanted games.

What's that? Resistance a flop? I am sorry, but I was unaware somehow that an 8.6 here on GS was considered to be a "flop". All of these other sites seemed to think that it was a pretty fantastic game as well:

i feel ya, but why shouldnt they try to expand the gameplay and shake things up?..  this is "teh next gen" right?..  :wink:

i'm actually more excited about the game now than i was when i thought it was just another flight sim..  dog-fights are cool, but dog-fights included within 32-player land-and-ground warfare sounds alot better..  you still get the flight combat and dog-fights but now you're getting an entirely different level to the gameplay..

honestly, i didnt like the "cartoony" look they were going for initially..  but now that i think about it, it seems like the right choice..  the original Warhawk definitley wasnt "serious" by any means (did you see those corny cutscenes?..  :lol: ) and a "cartoony" look definitely didnt hurt the GTA series..  8)..  it may help the casual players "just hop in" and have fun with the game when compared to some of the more realistic games like R6 or GRAW..

apparently some people think that you buy a console for one game..  even if other games you like are currently available or become available over the next 5-10 years, you can only play one game per console..  :|

when you have a job and your an adult. 600 dollars isnt that much money. its one weeks checke20Dylan

My friend would have to work 90 plus hours to buy himself a PS3 this including tax and a game.

Here il clear it up for you. Resistance had AAA hype it got a AA score. Thats a flop.
