Warhawk's graphics look horrible. check this link.

The game looked pretty good from some recent movies I saw on Youtube, especially the flight sequences.   but this ingame screenshot looks absolutely horrible!   The editor playing the game said that the graphics weren;t even up to par with Resistance!   That's pretty inexcusable, especially since this was (at least at one time) a big name title for the Ps3.   Now we will have to settle for an ugly looking downloadable game.   I just hope its alot of fun, and cheap to make up for the crappy graphics.    Even if the game is in the beta stage, the graphics should DEFINATELY look better than that terrible screenshot.

its not a game like geow where u can only see 100 feet ahead of you.

read the article again, they said the game was fun as hell.

Who cares if the game is mega fun and actually looks and performs really well in motion?  That single screenshot is terrible so obviously the game isn't worth anything, right?

I'm going to guess this game will end up being a $20 download. 

When will people learn theres no way in hell you can just a game this gen based upon screenshots? Despite the fact they tend to be horrifically compressed they don't incorporate things such as animation, physics, and many post-processing effects.

There are much worse screenshots than that for Warhawk and yet it looks AMAZINGLY better in the gameplay videos than in those screenshots.

Heck even videos are problematic at this point with the poor compression even many "HD" videos have (I'm looking at you IGN).

Considering that I payed $600.00 for the Ps3, I have good reason to expect much better than that.   Those textures look like they're from an early Ps2 game.   I want this game to be fun, but the visual factor is important.    I only hope they don;t scrap the cool aerial dogfights with the Warhakws also.ChiefFreeman

Those textures are well within beyond the angle at where polygonal graphics become blurry, you can find screenshots of Gears where graphics look very blurry..thats due to texture distortion.
