It used to be alot more active a while back. When I first started posting here in late '08 threads could be left in the dust and droop back up to 5 pages in only 20 minutes.

It certainly was more fun way back in the day talking about the future exclusives that were yet to come and how they would destroy all the competition. NOw its just arguing about DLC, and which multiplat is a tiny bit better..

I think System wars didn't even begin until 2001. Gamespot couldn't have been that great without it.

2006 and back was the time to be on System Wars, it's pretty bland nowadays.

End of last gen till around the begnning of this was the golden era 2004-2006. TBH things really started going up the **** when Zelda:TP was reviewed and then the whole Jeff fisasco marked the end of GS pretty much. Since then, the whole site just degraded (not talking about the forums only).

The place became alot more regulated and fun was taking out (SW bets). To add to on top of that, good long time posters such as Blackbond and Dream-Vision got banned.

But yeah, SW has gotten worse but i actually think its improved from late last year to early this year.

And i remember the 360 launch, despite 360 having the best launch in the end, it was DESTROYED by cows. Games were compared to last gen among other things, heck i even remember alot of people saying the 360 was equal to or would only be a bit more powerful than the Wii.

lol dude, i was there :P Dont think Zelda TP vs Oblivion. I remember the majority of people saying, Kameo looked very bland and didnt have a unique art. It was all technical. As fanboyish as it was, i was also agreeing :cry: despite having a 360 and loving Kameo. My love for zelda blinds me and surpasses all else.

Im sure your like that with a game.
