Don't think so. The closest thing the PS3 has to the Wii sensor is the Eyetoy which is a pretty nifty piece of kit at that.

First a Halo is overrated thread and now a 360 doesn't have motion sensing thread. If your going to troll, at least stay current.

It's a motion sensor anyway.

The controller itself has fully implimented motion sensing technology. It works in many games, such as The Godfather, Heavenly Sword, NBA 08, HSG: OOB, many others. It works poorly in a couple games (Lair), but, in almost all games, it's responsive and well done.

Secondly, I'll agree that Halo 3 is somewhat overrated, but that doesn't make it fact. Whether something is overrated or not is a fluid matter.

2ndly I have trouble believeing you decided to buy one console over another and didn't even bother to compare features. Come clean, you flipped a coin didn't you.

Fourth1!!11! integers.

No, never. You may be confusing the six-axis controller and the PS3 camera with a Wii-like controller.

But Sony has never claimed to be working on a Wii like motion sensor.

Have you even played Lair? I just finished playing the demo about half a dozen times (which has both motion and analog controls) and I highly prefer the motion controls.

I own Lair actually. The motion controls in it are not implimented nearly as fluidly as they are for heavenly sword and the like, they aren't responsive enough, and yet, at times, far too responsive. I defend Lair on many fronts, it's certainly not a bad game, but, you can't argue that the motion controls are fantastic for it.

It has a gyroscope built in. In other words... It can only sense which way the controller is tilter or how far it's tilted that way. It cant sense where in the room the controller is or which way it's pointing, if that's what you wanted to know.

Care to provide an example? Again, I'm only working with the demo (investigate a watchtower and protect some grain barges) and thus far I've found no problems. But perhaps there's something from the whole game that doesn't quite work.

Seriously- I was super impressed by the motion controls (maybe because I was expecting total trash?) and am looking into picking it up now.
