The recent game trailer doesn't look impressive as it did on the original trailer from last year and that goes for the city of Chicago, and second this trailer is just like the GTA V trailers. They even showed people doing yoga or something like it like they did in the GTA V trailers.

what do you mean it doesn't look like Chicago other than the sky line? there's a lot that looks similar. hell... that bridge that was raising looks like the bridge I walk over all the time on Adams just past Franklin and Upper Wacker before Union Station (which also looks depicted in the shot right before)

The game certainly looks like it has taken on a new direction.

Like I said, the actual city looks fairly similar, but outside the city... cliffs and small hills? and wind turbines? Wind turbines maybe couple of hours south of Chicago in corn country.

this does not look as bad as the low res gif thats been going around... still looks good.... but its hard to say if its as good as its initial reveal, without having played the game myself.

you said the skyline which is referring to the actual outside horizon .... I think what you actually meant was the city/loop area looks similar...because it does.

It does look like GTA5 is many ways. The graphics still look like they were downgraded a bit. We'll see what the final version of the game looks like. What if that E3 2012 trailer was actually a pre-rendered video made to look like gameplay ala Alien: Colonial Marines 1st footage that also looked like gameplay but it wasnt? Not even the PC version maxed out looked like that 1st video in Alien: CM. Oh, and dont post a link of devs saying it was running on PC. After so many other downgrades before I'll take devs word with a grain of salt. I only believe it when I actually see the game running on a PC and looking like that.

If this game has no Crucial Conflict, Legendary Traxster, Do Or Die or Twista on the radio stations (Provided they do radio stations), then this game is a mockery of Chi-Town

Looks like they are switching in and out the BS portions of the original trailer they showed in 2012 with the new downgraded stuff to fool people about the quality.

Game has an awesome concept and potential to be amazing, but lying, over hype, trying to deceive people reminds me of what Peter Molyneux did with Fable all those years back. Always promising the moon and giving you a box or rocks from your back yard.

I can tell when they do the drastic swap out and change to high quality, high end footage that looks nothing like what they show in the first minute or so of the vid.

If the game looks like a last gen PS3 game on current gen consoles then Ubisoft need to be strait about it and stop trying to fool people.

Very, very cool trailer. Just as long as Watch Dogs doesn't become GTA with hacking, no other company can do what Rockstar can do.

These people kill me lol yes it doesn't have the pretty colors of infamous but that's all infamous really has going for In all the power are almost the same just different colors besides the scripted destruction theres no interaction. Rendering infamous's seattle vs Rendering watchdogs Chicago is almost laughable to compare especially when you can interact with almost any person get to go into buildings, drive cars and the city is alive none of that going on in infamous. As a superhero game infamous is excellent but for a open world game its very generic.

lol, why are you whining about what infamous does as a game in this thread? Infamous is an open wold game on PS4 that happens to set a new standard for what people expect in an open wold game, get over it.

You are a lem so I doubt you have a PS4 and konw what Infamous looks like in person in full 1080p on a TV nor any idea of everything that happens in the world.

What Watch Dogs looks to do as a GTA style game is more impressive that what Infamous is doing as superhero game, but graphically both games are set inside of a sandbox city and the demands for what Infamous is doing as a superhero game though different is just as demanding given the scale, particles, destruction and effects.

Anecdotal:

My cuz and my home town friend came over to visit since I took a break from work to come home. My cousin has played GTA, the old Infamous 2 and I told him about Infamous Second Son when he came I was already playing it. When they both got in I didn't try to tell them how good the game looked or hype it as anything, They didn't even know anything about a new infamous.

They thought it looked like real life, they couldn't believe I was playing a game. They were telling me how it was too much going on in the screen to keep up with all the shooting, cars exploding, people and enemies.

They both want a PS4 now. Just being real, this game set a new standard for open wold games. You don't have to accept that but it is what it is.

because some people on this board (most ) only like to bitch and complain about every little thing. They want justification on purchasing a $700 i7 and a nvidia titan when all pc games out right now can run at 1080p on a 7870 for $200..

Honestly looks like a modded GTA IV to me. The models and movements look really similar. Just some better meshes and textures...

watchdogs used to have my interest .. now it looks "meh". all i can say is i hope to be pleasantly surprised but at this point it looks like a slightly above average game to me.
