Shows game play on XSX.
Good use of RayTracing
4K and "locked" 30fps
Does look pretty stunning, specially considering it's crossgen. Still hard pass.
I tried the original Watchdogs and it wasn't for me either.. probably wont play this game (unless it comes to gamepass then I will try it) but it still looks good
Finally, a look at ray tracing on the Series X. Looks ok but if I end up playing this it will be on PC. I played the first one on PC but the second one on console. I don't want to go back to playing Watchdogs at 30fps.
I would pick this up now if I didn't worry it would brick my XB1X, any news about a fix? Games having problems are always well covered but them getting patches not so much.
I dunno, even maxed out on pc i find this game to be ugly. Its technically isn't, but all the environment and everything seems so flat and boring. To me it looks like a five plus years old open world game with reflections added to it via a mod. Shit game 😕
@ghost_of_phobos: nice to know, while trying to search if this was case yesterday I keep running into news articles and videos saying it's an issue, nothing about it getting patched though they all say Ubisoft promises to patch it by end of week but hadn't seen this confirmed yet
Thanks for that though.
@lamprey263: From Eurogamer "UPDATE: The offending bug has indeed been removed - and a day before expected. We've since verified that it no longer exists, and will aim to have our final review with you early next week."
This, honestly looks like GTA5 running on Pc With an enhanced graphics mod, granted GTA5 on PC can look pretty god damn amazing, so I’m just not all that impressed, that said, I’m still a fan of watch dogs, so I do plan on purchasing it. But interms of visual Cyberpunk looks more “next gen” ..and no where near Spider-Man, where as this looks like it’s almost running on an XB1X or PS4 Pro.
Honestly speaking it looks similar to watchdogs 2 with higher resolution textures and ray tracing, but I think its approaching it the wrong way, similar to old GTA5 mods that only consisted of vastly wet roads and surfaces to overly highlight reflections.
I will say that London bridge shot looks great, but I don’t see why they aren’t able to achieve 60FPS.
I’m guessing because it’s cross gen.
I just couldn't do it. I mean I had it ordered and then cancelled at the 25th hr and was luckily successful.
Maybe once in deep discount. Can stomach a Ubi open world game right now.
I like the AC games because I like the historical references :D
I played Division 1 and it was ok.. Division 2 I bought and played for like 5 hours (kind of the exact same thing as D1)
Ghost Recon is ok too but I dont rush out to buy it
Watch Dogs I plated some of the first and none of the one after it so I will pass unless it comes to Game Pass (even though this visually looks good)

4k by day, ~1440p by night?
@howmakewood: Maybe they are showing RT at night because its easier to see all the unnaturally shiny shit.🤷🏽♀️
well I havent really taken a loot at the video, but let us assume the lighting would be fully done with RT, during day you have less sources of light than during the night, thus one scenario would require less to be traced?
@howmakewood: Rays are typically shot from the camera and not the lights because its more efficient and you a get at least one layer of occlusion. I believe the complexity of the scene has a greater impact than the number of lights. I maybe wrong on this because I have not tested RT specifically on number of lights/performance.
