The first few reviews are usually the most flattering. Then comes the tough reviewers. So those two aren't a good omen.

I think it's obviously safe to assume so. It seems new tech tends to get a handicap in the beginning. Even new consoles seem to get this.

I'd aruge it will geta good review here, most XBOX games tend to do better on this site than say a PS3 game, though that's just an observation ;)

lmao,it looks like a game thats not even fully utilizing the kinect.

i mean slashing one way or the other is something the PSeyetoy can do with right software and coding. Go watch some gameplay videos of the combat, it looks horrible.

By working it means its fun to play and "works" ... whats so hard to understand about that? it is an achievement... you havnt even playd the game to judge its content...PC360Wii

So? A lot of games are fun to play and work. Majority of games are exactly that. Just because they chose to use a handicapped control scheme shouldn't give them a free pass to high scores. Watched a trailer from Gamespot on Youtube just now and it looks like some cheesy arcade shooter. There's nothing scary about the game at all.

lol its funny to see the backtracking you have to admit, alot of thees guys were the same that said it would fail and wouldnt be a sucess but it continues to make them looking foolish and wrong.

Joystiq gave it 3.5/5 stars.

It still can't be done. the thing is on RAILS (or fails) the game moves for you. why would i wanna spend money on this?

Its a FPS ... that works on kinect.... its a step. that handicapped control scheme can be developed but NEEDS these oppurtunties, fine if you dont like it, when controllers take a back seat in 5-10 years if you dont adapt tough luck.... though it may not be in the form of kinect.PC360Wii

Red Steel 1 was an FPS that worked on the Wii. It was a step, but it didn't get a free pass just for "working." Red Steel 2 is an incredible game but it didn't get a free pass just for "working." Watched a few more videos and it still looks incredibly below average. Not to mention the graphics are pretty bad. It's also an on-rails game, not an FPS.

Sorry if I don't want to handicap myself to get a mediocre, or less than rather, experience when there are vastly better options available. I play on PC, I get the freedom to choose any damn controller I want, even if for some unknown reason I wanted Kinect.

Gamesradar gave it a 4 out of 10, but I'm still buying it being a horror fan, and the game isn't on rails.

BTW What the hell is up with the Kinect haters? Post somewhere else if you don't have anything productive to say.
