Uh casual gamers are people who put a low priority on playing games, and only play the big name titles that are easily approachable, like Halo. That's fine, they have other things to do and frankly gaming four hours a day is definitely an imbalanced lifestyle.
If you're talking about very casual gamers, like the Nintendo Wii crowd with Wii Play and Wii Sports and Wario Ware, then that's a different story entirely. They play games that require little to no personal investment and can be beaten by a six year old. That is the kind of gamer who is killing corporate investment into hardcore games.
And by the way, a game where you have to use a calculator to beat it isn't 'hardcore', it's just kinda dumb. Games are meant to be games, not math exercises. That hold true for Brain Training, too; that's not a game.
