Micheal Patcher has revealed that Activision demand Ninty to make the Pro Controller so that they can port their COD games to the system.

Does this mean that the WiiU version will be the worst version of the game.:lol:

Nobody plays CoD seriously on Ninty Systems. The controller should still be made for games in general. I can expect hand cramps galore using that tablet for extended play.

It never crossed Pachter's mind that Nintendo made the Wii U Pro controller because they knew that the tablet won't work for all games, like the Wii and how it had GameCube (first models) and CIassic Controller support?

The kick off of a new gen can be funny at times. Publishers sounding every bit as self entitled as your most spoiled gamers and in many cases acting like the future of a platform solely revolves their company.

Reminds me of all the demands and empty threats that publishers made to Sony at the start of this gen. All we need now is for SE to come out and say they are the deciding factor of which platform "wins". Then everything will come full circle lol.

Keeping in mind the fact that Acitvision supported Wiimote controls in Goldeneye and the Wii COD games, I'll take what Pratcher said with a grain of salt. Acitvsion senses a chance to make money, and they have been willing to work with controllers like the Wiimote when it comes to games like COD.

But even then, I don't get the big deal if Nintendo did design the Pro Controller at Acitvision's request. Since the Gamecube, Nintendo has been more willing to help third-party developers and cater to their wishes. Nintendo knows the value of having COD on the Wii U, and I'm sure they are prefectly willing to ensure Activison remains happy.

So no, this is not a big deal. Although, I belive Pratcher is making stuff up on this one.

I dont blame developers wanting NIN to do so..NIN controlers have been freakin awful since N64 until now..I dont care what fanboys like to say..I have EVERY SINGLE NIN console from NES to Wii..I love NIN..but man, they need to get with the program..

The HUGE WiiU pad looks "ok" but we'll see..its going to be like holding a freaking Ipad up playing though..will that work for comfort? we'll see..

Guys I know that we all like to distribute our hate equally for Michael patcher and Activison, but in this case, the hate all goes entirely to Patcher since he is just doing what he does best make predictions and give out bull opinions.

You haven't seen the competitive COD play on the Wii. They're almost as bad as the 360's, only annoying little kids are much rarer.

nintendo owners will continue to play nintendo games...if they cared so much about multiplats they would have bought a 360/ps3 by now.campzor
