We should re-vote GS only or Meta scores for SW.

We should revote on this. Back when we voted the first time Gerstmann and the others were still reviewing. GS scores have been flakey for awhile. Why not revote just to see if we should be using Meta scores of GS scores in SW ?!

No it just wont work. GR and metacritic are variables for example a game can be AAA one week and then 2 months later drop down to A. The only way it would work is if we waited a year (minimum) to see what score a game has. Trust me, just using GS is the best method and although we may not always agree on the review, it creates a standard for sytem wars to use. Getting rid of gamespot, we would have threads such as "Lair is AAAA because of a SDF review!!". thats a bit silly but you get the gist of it.

The only instance when Meta or other review sources can be used is if GS havent reviewed the game yet or wont.

and not to sound like a broken record but we're on the GS forums so we use GS reviews. If you want to use other sources then go to other forums.

Thats because Bioshock was immersive and fresh I think Dead Space is overrated and that Silent Hill Homecoming is a better game and underrated. Now then Halo Wars is a good game I agree with igns review more.

Do as i do and make your own mind up. It works out a lot better, for example i know MGS4 is fairly average and i know GEOW2 multiplayer sucks.

Listen to the reviewers and they'll tell you otherwise. Problem is - there wrong. I'm not.

I don't care which we use, using GS reviews is more fun and dramatic.... its fun to own fanboys with. Metacritic would be way more accurate, but then there would be less ownage, where's the fun in that..... lol.whatisazerg

I actually thought that Homecoming was less scary then previous Silent Hills because you didn't really have to worry too much about dying (since you had lots of moves, weapons, and health drinks). You should give it a try.
