How so, there are plenty of games better then ME this gen IN MY OPINION. Ive played both games and found demon souls much better..
The only practical way to choose which game is the best of a generation is to look at the average of all of the major critics' reviews. If you think that Demon Souls will get those kind of scores then more power to you, but in the real world everyone knows that that wont happen.

Who takes Gamespot ratings seriously? They lost all credibility after firing Jeff for his fair, blunt review of a game that pumped money into the site.
It looks great, but can't they make the guy change his facial expressions? He looks mad fake when he is reloading and he has the straightest face ever, no expression or nothing. Either way the game looks great, but not sure about best this gen.

Honestly GS makes no meaning to me and there reviews either. You are right since Jeff spoke the truth and GS tried to cover things up. Really they blow for reviews I mean really even madden 10 is way better then the 7.5 GS gave it Madden 10 is the best madden in years a 8.5 no less.

Since they factor in to a games rating you should. ME2 is most likely get AAAE but i still think there a chance it will be AAE.

Ive played both games and found demon souls much better.. except that demons souls is way too easy after you deal with the glitches and you know how the level is laid out because nothing is dynamic. i got to the point where i could basically do some of the levels with my eyes closed, thats how predictable it gets. not to mention the many boss glitches making the fights too easy, as well as the weak levels of customization in the game. its a fun game, but not even close to the best this year.
