Why not just play COD4? It's straight up 99% identical looking. And you know that the new stuff is just going to add to the cheap kill count (and overhead gun I can't avoid, are you joking me?)AssassinFonce

So will it come close to TF2 or BF2 this time? I don't think it can win any fight safe visuals. Not in terms of realism, fun, balance, options, whatever.
Also the company sucks.
It'll be the most overated game this year.

counterstrike came out in 1999 youre late to the party.

untill MW2 can have big tacticle maps then no it wont be the best multiplayer game. you can only run n gun for so long. it gets boring. the game requires no skill but fast reactions. twitchy gameplay FTL

UT2k4 and quake 3 are two of the best mp FPSs of all time yet both are twitched based shooters.

well true but COD has the lack of recoil to go with it. the guns shoot like bb guns. way to easy....im like a big SOCOM fan so im pretty picky about being tacticle and real life recoil....the only fps that can satisfy my needs looks to be BC2

I've been enjoying Infinity Ward's games since Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. Say what you want about Treyarch, but IW knows how to make a great FPS. I'm expecting MW2 to live up to the hype.

Counter strike, no doubt, is godly in terms of multiplayer.

Either way, Modern Warfare 2 will be great and so will Uncharted 2.

So sit back and enjoy online gaming at its best!

I remember when games like SOCOM, Quake and Counter Strike were regarded as good because they took skill. Now it's all about who makes games so easy, even a blind person can have a 2.0 k/d. (Killzone, COD, Halo, Gears, etc.)

DOh how could I have missed that

I like how MW2's MP seems to be improved over Cod4's MP. That new mode "Demolition" sounds awfuly a lot like Search and Destroy however.

Demolition doesn't just sound like Search and Destroy, it sounds like Killzone 2's Search and Destroy.

And the circle of life goes on.
