That's only natural, because the 360 destroys everything right now and it always will.  I have always picked up the best games and best systems, but the 360 is my favorite system of all time.  I still can't believe that the next gen is just starting out.  We have 6-8 years of amazing games to come, and I think the 360 will lead us into whatever the future may bring.  The Dreamcast used to be, and before that it was the N64.

There's a trend you see.  Games and machines will always get bigger and better.  I have owned every console except the Jaguar, Neo Geo, and 3DO for obvious reasons.

I'll be jacked on Halo 3 and 360 for the next 3 years, so there will be no PS3 until then.  By that time it should be pretty cheap.:)

I don't see how there can be any fanboys.  They miss out on so much.:(

Honestly, I think that most everybody in here has, or will have the system they so proudly bash.  Games are super sweet right now, and I can't see missing out on any of the machines.

Sometimes I'll buy a system when I discover a new type of game I want.  Gran Turismo made me get a Playstaytion.  Halo made me get an Xbox.  Mario 64 made me get a N64.  Gran Turismo 3 made me get a PS2.  ZeldaTP and Mario Galaxy made me get the Wii.

All the others are just icing on the cake.

I bought a 360 at launch because I had to have Call of Duty 2 and PGR3.  Ofcourse Halo 3 down the road didn't hurt either, and now I'm actually playing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what will make me get a PS3, but I'm sure Team ICO will have a big some thing to do with it.  Maybe even Uncharted!  It looks cool, so we'll just have to see.

What I can never understand is why fanboys exist?  Why people call me a Microsoft fanboy just because of Halo in my sig?

It's just weird to think that some people only play one brand.  I doubt it, but anything is possible I guess.  It's just sad.:(

As far as specific games goes I can understand.  I think Halo as a series is, and will be king for the next 3-5 years.  The Beta is that good, and the attention to detail is astounding.  But that doesn't mean I don't play Killzone or Half Life 2, because I generaly love FPS.:)  I just think Halo has...it!  Michael Jordan had...it!  Whatever "it" is, just happens to be something special.

If fanboys of any kind miss out, than that's their problem.  Not ours!

my view on this.

 fanboys are weird have to bash everything. for instance they find out halo is coming out people bash that then once smashbros gets announced they bash that once ff13 gets announced they bash that. they are all haters. i say play the games enjoy them. to answer your question nope, i dont allow their stupid remarks get to my gaming i play the games to have fun dont play games based on others opinions.

Anyway, well, I probably had a little more faith for humanity before coming in touch with fanboys, however I think they're not something to take too serious, just more the kind of people to laugh at than to laugh with.

I'm happy now.  I don't let System Wars affect my decisions gaming-wise.
