Ingame music is so stupid, I almost never use it on the 360.

The most annoying part is this,

Ok, I start the game, I am in the menu. Ok, hit the guide button, go down to the option, then go through this huge list of music to find what you want. Sweet, my music is playing! Alright lets get into the game..... hmmm wtf, why did it change back to the normal music when I started the game? Ok, go through the huge list again and choose your music... DAMN! It stopped playing my music when the level switched, **** this. Everytime ANYTHING changed (new level, track, menu, etc) it stops playing the music and you have to go through all these options to get it to go again.

That's when I gave up on ingame music on the 360, talk about pain in the ***.

It doesn't, I tried to use it but it won't work. I guess the companies need to release a patch for their games to support in-game music and the trophy system. I also don't like how slow the in-game xmb is.

I'm not questioning you, but ingame music should not be something that companies have to support. It should be built into the consoles operating system. Asking each game developer to build in support for this results in recreating the wheel (some uneffectly i might add). This is my main gripe with Sony's PSN. It also requires that the dev do alot of work to get their game online.

Playing your own music during MGS4 is the worst thing you could ever do.

It has some of the best scores/music already available, talk about completely ruining the game imo.

Its amazing how little attention people pay these days. We all knew EXACTLY what was coming today, exactly what to expect, and exactly how it would work and evolve.

This. Did anybody even watch the videos, it was said many times that things would have to be patched later on by developers and so on, but people seemed to ignore all of that.

All I cared about was in-game chat and its there so i'm happy.

Custom Soundtracks have to be implemented in each game, its not like the 360 where it works with all games.

I think he means chatting with a friend who is not in the same game. With Xbox live you can open a private channel and invite friends no matter what your doing. With PSN you can only do this when your not playing.

Why have it twice though? I can plug my Zune up to my 360 and stream music, or I can just turn the 360 on and stream it from my computer (which is what I do). Theres no need to copy it over twice, especially if the two devices are on the same network and both devices support media streaming.

Yea, store music on your PS3's HDD and watch it fill up with all those Game installs + Music, great idea! :roll:

Seriously though, I can hook an MP3 Player or just a plain ol' flash drive to my 360 and play music / videos from them, but all of that is pointless when you can just stream it from a PC.
