What about the uncharted collection

The ps4 is sometimes critized because it does a lot of remasters but for someone like me that didn't play the uncharted games I was wondering if the uncharted collection is really worth it, it may be a remaster but last gen games mostly don't look good enough for me any more.

On the other hand I've see some videos and the game actually looks quite good for being a last gen game. The game is on sale here for 35 euro (which is like 40 bucks). Is it worth it?

Yep. Graphics have been improved nicely and there is 60fps goodness. No reason not to take it. Fun games as well.

Yeah I was looking at a video where you have an overlook over a city, don't know which uncharted it was and it looked like a current gen game

I bought it and hated the writing and gameplay.

Still, if you're at all interested in the series, it might be worth a purchase.

The game is ok, but i'm a minority, people love the games.

It's solid I bet to play uncharted 2 at 60 faps, and two shitty games.

All you have to do is go to its wiki page, look at the porting house that did the work, and that should be your smoking gun to buy it.

Best remaster of this generation from the best video game trilogy of last generation. Buy it asap.

It should have been backward compatible with online intact. This remaster doesn't have the online portion which adds to the fun. If you waited this long, you're better off waiting even longer until it becomes even cheaper. You could even rent it since the replay value got reduced since they took out the online portion.

I can't really comment on UC1 as I never played it outside the demo. But, UC2/3 are pretty much the same.

Get it for sure but try Hard or Normal first because Crushing is a pain in the ass with thr cheap deads and the shotgun that kill you from a mile away. It's easy to plat though I did it last gen with UC2(only one I played back then)

You'd be surprised how well last gen games still hold up.

Just increase the res to 1080p and add some good AA so everything looks sharp and increase the framerate and you got a terrific experience.

I'm playing God of War Ascension at the moment on PS3 and I think the game looks absolutely great.

Uncharted and Uncharted 3 are pretty dismal. Uncharted 2 had some decent multiplayer, but they laughably stripped the collection of its multiplayer components. If you find it dirt cheap, then sure, otherwise forget it.

Ah yes the Uncharted Collection that everyone loved even without multiplayer, compared to the MCC which has 4 playable campaigns that worked at launch even but had trouble matchmaking for a few months and was just deemed disastrous by everyone.

That's true, but certainly not the case for every last gen game. skyrim for instance, even with the hd texture pack, hasn't aged well imo, of course you have mods there but that isn't the only game out there that suffers from the same problem.

I gotta say thought that a lot of reviewers say that uncharted 1 looks ugly but when looking at gameplay videos it doesn't look ugly at all. Don't understand what they're getting at.

True, a lot of the early last gen games have aged terribly. I was amazed by how good Resistance and Gears of War looked at first, but now that time has passed, they are quite ugly and the artstyle is really monotonous.

I found all of the Uncharted games to be good looking. I'm sure they'll shine in 1080/60 :)

If you didn't play them, it's worth it. The lack of MP was kinda lame.

UC collection is well worth it. Sooooo much better with the DS4 and fixed aiming.

Those games are really 10x better remastered, imo.

Edit: yes they look really good too.

If you want a strong gameplay driven experience, then no.

If you want your interactions to be uninterrupted, then no.

If you want a sense of exploration, then no.

If you want a legitimate challenge, then no.

If you want a game with great replayability or lasting appeal, then no.

If you Want a game with an interesting story or plot, then no.

It's really hard to recommend this. The Last of Us is a much better game to get remastered.

Yes get it, it's 3 good games for a great price.

That's largely what those remasters are for.

For people that never had a PS3 but have a PS4.

I think They're a bit of a waste of time since I have them for my PS3, but to the person who does not, it's a good deal.

That was criminal, I couldn't believe it. Reviewers shafting MCC because they couldn't play MP when they would have given it a 9 if it had been released with just the single player games remastered. Shameful.

On topic... I didn't like Uncharted on PS3 and never bought the other ones. Then I bought the collection for PS4 and Uncharted seemed much better, don't know why, but it's worth buying just for the 'wow' factor of going from 1 to 2 the difference is so dramatic. 3 is a good game though it wastes a lot of time on stuff nobody gives a damn about.

On balance I'd say buy it looking at the price you can get it for now. The entry price is worth it for Uncharted 2 alone and it will whet your appetite for 4.

Its great, already finished first game, onto 2nd now. Hope to get it and 3 done by the time Uncharted 4 comes out.

I don't flip flop at all, I only bought a playstation to crush noobs in world of tanks and I liked the ergonomics of the gamepad

I also was quite impressed with bloodborne.

That doesn't change the fact that my xbox gets a lot more time.

Among Thieves is great, so yeah, get it.

Yes, get that and TLOU Remastered, especially if you havent played them.

UC1 is a drag to play through, even with the improved graphics but its a must-play to enjoy the others.

TLOU is amazing on PS4, the only way to play it.

The fact is that the ps4 is not such a good system imo if it is your only system

that doesn't change the fact that the controller is more ergonomic and that it has games like bloodborne, which the xboxone doesn't have. The xbox has an ergonomic controller, which costs 150$.

The ruse was also a bit comical, it's not because a system suddenly becomes more interesting that it shouldn't be mentioned or vice versa.

Depends on who you ask, self entitled game connoisseurs are going to say NO, if you ask me, if you never played the PS3 versions then ---> YES, it´s worth it, I liked and enjoyed the 3 games and have played them several times each, as for the lack of the MP, well, to tell you the truth, I have never played UC multiplayer and so far haven´t had any interest in doing it ( by now those MP lobbies must be pretty much dead ).

Uncharted 2 is worth a play through, the other 2 games are manure.

You'll probably get burned out on the franchise playing all three back to back, so try and space em out.
