What announcements are you hoping for this year?

It's almost hard to believe that E3 is only a couple of months away and it has a lot of expectations to live up to after the initial promise of E3 '09. No doubt there will be plenty of other opportunities for game announcements in the coming months too. Anyway, these would be game announcements that are long overdue in my estimation.

Half Life 2: Episode 3 - seriously, how long can it possibly take? Isn't it still using the Source Engine? And yet Valve found the time to make two Left 4 Dead games?

Virtua Fighter 6 - Ideally this should come loaded with features and extras on the home systems to make the game more palatable to people outside its long-term fanbase... and bring back the training mode from VF4: Evolution please.

F-Zero Wii - Come on, we don't want Wipeout HD to be the only good futuristic racer this gen.

Zelda Wii release date - It's obviously on its way, but has apparently been in development for over five years. It would simply put my mind at rest. :)

Do people still think this might come out? I think this is a little bit like hoping for Shenmue III. Seeing it come out and playing it would make me die a happy man, but I don't think it will ever happen.

To be honest nothing for consoles really. Red Dead Redemption is gonna make my year! I guess some PC games or something or WoW:Cataclysm release date so I know when to take a week off.

1. Banjo-Threeie: There's a slim chance that it could happen, but it's still a chance none the less. And if it does get announced, I want Rare to do it the RIGHT way (Platforming). That way would've been more successful than the screw-up of a B-K game released in 2008.

2. GTA V: I loved SA & IV (Couldn't get in to III or VC), so if they mix the two up, it will no doubt be the best in the series yet.

3. Star Fox Wii: Star Fox 64 style with the capabilities of the Wii. Who WOULDN'T want that?

4. Fallout 4: The haters can go cry me a river, 'cause I LOVE Fallout 3, and I hope that Bethesda returns in the near future.

5. SW BF3: Who DOESN'T want it?

I just want to hear a bunch of good announcements for the 3DS.

Things off the top of my head would be things like

Higher res screens, an analog nub, and hopefully show it with a sleek design. I also hope the rumors of Gamecube quality graphics is shown to be true.

"$149" would also be a good announcement :P

Other things I'm hyped for I already know are coming. Halo Reach, Metroid Other M, etc.
