I’m going to be looking for a physical copy of the Lunar Remastered Collection. It’s being sold exclusively through Amazon and I don’t know how many copies they will have. Other than that, I will be checking out Expedition 33 on GamePass, thanks Phil! Oh, and Days Gone Remastered. What about you, SW? What April game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos on GoG and the fact Croc is an oldie's game I grew up with when I played it on PS1 decades ago, I wanna replay it as it was a cool platform game of my childhood. So happy to see Croc coming back to the modern world time. South of Midnight with its Louisiana settings looks interesting, I've heard the gameplay plays like Forspoken. Only one way to find out when I pick it up on PC. TLOU2 is also going to be a day one purchase on Steam and just in time for S2 show to jump into the hype train. 3 games to look forward this April.

Was going to buy South of Midnight but Phil doesn't want my money because it's only available digitally 🤦‍♂️

Was also going to get Expeditions 33, but I will wait for a second hand copy (if it releases on disc that is) to get a copy as I don't want to give MS any money.

Nothing, I can't look, I need to work on what I've got now.

I did see some stuff about Expedition 33 and while the story and the idea behind it are interesting (high value turn based RPG), the battle system looks a little overwhelming. I like turn based because it allows for a certain way to plan and strategize in a battle which I love. But it looks like there is a lot to consider any time you make a move in this game that I don't yet understand, so it depends how they execute on it. I think I will skip it unless I hear good things. I have a lot of RPGs I want to play already. I wish them luck though, I hope it boosts interest in turn based RPGs in new gamers. It's a great mechanic when done well.

Yeah mate, just finished BotW on Wii U last weekend. Phil/MS are doing everything in their power to bury the Xbox brand, so I won't be supporting them much or anymore in the future if this is how they want to treat true Xbox fans.

Unlike other Xbox "fans" here I won't kiss MS arse and pretend that that aren't destroying Xbox. Last weekend I spent $280 on retro games and got 38 games for it and bought 4 Mega Drive games last night on Ebay for $110, so that's where my money and time will be for the foreseeable future.

Nothing in April. I bought 3 full price games in March so there is a dent in my budget anyway.

@last_lap: Fair enough mate.

I seriously think you should consider a Switch or Switch 2. I know you don't like a bunch of the games Nintendo makes, but it has such a huge and varied library. For me, Nintendo in a lot of ways is still that old school gaming company from the good old days. For better or worse. They won't be abandoning physical games any time soon, unlike Xbox and eventually PS.

@hrt_rulz01: I hear what you're saying about Switch, and if I can find one dirt cheap second hand I'll consider it because I want to play Bayo 3 and TotK, but yeah nothing else Nintendo except maybe Xenoblade interest's me.

It definitely has the style thing going for it, but it does seem overstimulated.

Yeah it had plenty of style and a kick ass opening but it fell flat on its face with execution. Hope South of Midnight can combine style with gameplay to back it up :)

Destin gave his honest preview opinion on the gameplay if you are all curious and I think it was legit. But I will still play it as I'm southern and this has been on my radar for so long and hey, it's on Game Pass, so what do I have to lose?
