What are some classic games that legitimately scared you/ creeped you out?

For me it would have to be Majoras Mask. With the whole Creepy moon, The skull kid, The Red Heads, And mostly theHappy Mask salesman shaking Link, It made me never want to play it. Still don't, even though I enjoyed it. Anyway what are some classic games that scared/ creeped you out?

Ocarina of Time (the Shadow Temple, the Guru Guru dude) Majora's Mask (the whole atmosphere is just unsettling and there are some legitmatley scary moments in the game and many more unsettling ones)... and that's all I can think of right now.

OoT, Majora's Mask, Resident Evil 1 and 2 (Don't remember 3 TBH,) SM 64 (Damn eel was scary as a kid, and I'm still afraid of water so those water levels creeped me out too,) Silent Hill 2 and 3, and REmake scared the hell out of me. I love horror games :P

I have. It's my favorite Zelda game, even though It was the main source of me never wanting to play a Zelda game for a LONG time.

No game has legitimately creeped me out.

I love the game because of how unsettling it is. The way the atmosphere was created inspires me. (It's my fav game ever btw.)

That piano in Boo's mansion in Mario 64 always scared the hell out of me.

RE1, RE2, Dead Space are the only games that made me jump outta my seat and make me feel scared to playthem everytime by myself

I was 4 years old and I was watching my sisters play Super Mario World 2. They got to the final level, and at the end when baby bowser grew huge and scary I started crying and went and hid behind the couch.

Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for the N64. The sewer board changed my life and made me hate water levels for life. I remember I would get up to the edge of the platform I was standing on, and I would have to pump myself up to jump in the water, and if I fell in before I was ready, I would pause the game, get up and shut it off. I couldn't finish Turok because of all the water and monsters in it. Heck, I was even scared of Treasure Trove Cove in Banjo Kazooie because of that dang shark.

Any game with water levels scare the mess out of me.

Majora's mask. it's an incredibly unnerving game with some downright creepy settings and characters.

RE4 creeped me out, both at the part where you play as Ashley and have to haul *** to get away from those knights, and the regenerators. Mostly due to the music and sound effects.

Fatal Frame.

That'd be Silent Hill 2. That game has better writing than anything released this gen.
