What are some of your favorite video game cliches?

Mine has to be the stealth games one

"Hey, someone just shot my best friend!! I'll find you!" 2 minutes later "Eh, back to guard duty."

Tough guys with British accents 8)

"Oh no, how am I going to hit that switch?"...*walks into other room*..."Hey, a boomerang!"

Gotta love gameplay specific items like in Zelda.

I'm so bada** I have all these weapons and abilities it's insane *falls down* OH NO I LOST EVERYTHING!!! Time to go get it all back.

Gotta love those exploding barrels. Killing people with them feels earned as opposed to using a rocket launcher. They're also plentiful in supply and seem to be everywhere except where they should be. :P

• You must lure bad guy towards you then dodge at the last minute to cause stun damage for free hits.
• must fight tentacle bosses :P
• you must level up.
• you absorb some byproducts of fallen enemies lol.

lol I forgot about the invisible walls where you walk up to them just to be blocked and a text screen that says something like "oh theres nothing over here" or "I should really hurry over to _____". Man I hate that.
