Survival Horror: Siren (not too many true survival horror titles to come out this gen besides that one title on the PC and Deadly Permonition)

I can't say these are the best, but these are some recent favorites:

Hack n' Slash: Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

SHMUP/Bullet Hell: Hydorah? As I do not have an Xbox 360 yet I have not played many this generation.

Fighting: I guess GG:AC, MBAA, and KOF2002UM, and 3S, AH3, and KOF 13 are major contenders.

Dungeon Crawler: The Dark Spire and hopefully CoH3.

Roguelike: UnRealworld.

Platformer: Challenge from Kiyoshi.

Art Game: Norrland, The Terrible Whiteness of Appalachian Mountains.

Well those are all the genres I care about.

Action: GoW3

RTS: don't like the genre but if i had to pick something i guess i'd go with Warcraft 3

WRPG: tie between Mass Effect 2 and Fallout 3

Racing: Sim goes to Forza 2 (haven't played the 3rd yet)..... and Kart goes to ANY Mario kart

Sports: My fondest memory with a sports game were with NFL 2K5.... played this one religously for months

Adventure: Zelda: Windwaker

I wanted to go through your list and put my favs next to yours but I agree with you on everything except WRPG and IDK about there being a survival horror genre this gen outside of the pc, and I don't know about kameo either. I'm a Fable fan so I'm hoping 3 is amazing but still 2 is my fav for wrpgs.
