What are the biggest games of 2016?

So as we all know, 2015 has/will be one to remember for video games. Arkham Knight, Fallout 4, The Witcher 3, Battlefront 3, Halo 5, Bloodborne, Metal Gear 5 and so on. Does 2016 even come close?

We're getting Uncharted 4, Gears 4 and Final Fantasy 15. Obviously those games are all huge, it seems like 16 is going to be a lot easier on our wallets than 15 has/will be.

Mass effect Andromeda is on my personal watch list but I believe 2016 will be stuffed with content... I actually think it could shape up to be one of the better years of the generation.

Ah yeah, forgot about Mass Effect.

The Mass Effect series has always been stronger than the Dragon Age series, but i hope the new one implements its side quest content better than Inquisitions, which to be frank, was awful.

I'd take a fraction of the quantity if they actually had good content.

I somehow doubt Last Guardian is going to show up in 2016, Horizon on the other hand.....

half the stuff coming out won't really be at the forefront of our minds until E3 2016, I don't care to think about it until then, not to say we shouldn't be looking forward to the games we can think of now, I just think later though there might be games we're barely aware of that'll be making splashes

@soulitane: Did you follow E3 at all? It would have helped you a lot.

That list doesn't seem that great to me. I actually expect several of those games to be disappointing let-downs (Doom, Gears 4 especially), and something like Crackdown to me is a quirky cult game more than anything. Although at least the production values are a little better for a new generation, it's still not a game I'd put on an elite list.

All I know is I'm looking forward more to Metal Gear V and Star Wars: Battlefront more than anything on that list (I'm just hoping the latter has a smooth launch and isn't a repeat of Battlefield 4 fiasco). Hell, I'll even throw Mad Max out there too since I love me some Mad Max, and it basically looks like it runs on next gen Just Cause engine. That is a recipe for another great game IMO.

I look at a few trailers, don't really pay much attention to when things come out. It works out better for me that way.

Lol yeah... I kinda made my list based on what I want.

And for me personally, I know I'd rather play Doom & Gears 4 over Battlefront any day. It's just Battlefield, wrapped in a Star Wars blanket. Meh.

I get why people are saying that, although I am looking forward to Battlefront as well. I just hope it gives me the complete Star Wars feel when I'm playing it and not a Battlefield feel.

Personally for me it's Fire Emblem if.

Otherwise, probably UC4.

I know its not announced yet, but i'm hoping Civilization 6 will come out in 2016

• Mirror's Edge: Catalyst, fingers crossed it doesn't suffer from open world sickness.
• Mass Effect: Andromeda (I was kind of fatigued after playing so much ME around 3 but now I'm super excited to go back to that style of game again),
• Uncharted 4, best action setpieces in gaming.
• Tomb Raider Rising (PC), TR2013 was fantastic! This looks like an ambitious sequel, hopefully it doesn't suffer from sequelatis.
• Quantum Break (PC, maybe?). Hope QB comes to PC in the fall, that would be awesome!

Then obv a bunch of smaller games which may end up better anyway. I will also have a huuuge backlog to clear.

Mass Effect . Mass Effect was by far my favorite games last gen but I still need to see what the next one will be like. The top people from the first 3 games have left and Bioware games are becoming too much of a gay relationship sim now. DA3 3 was pretty bad also.
