What are the chances of ND blowing us all and announcing TLOU2 at E3 2016?

Would certainly be a surprise. Naughty Dog surely needs a project after uc4 so what if this is it? Even if they did i doubt it would be a 2016 release, that would be insane. Ps4 would hands down destroy 2016.

I'd rather see something new and more in line with their Crash Bandicoot roots, I've had enough of their 'serious' games.

On topic. As much as I'd like to see it announced, I doubt they'll have anything to show besides a logo. TLOU 2 would most likely be worked on by their A team, which I believe are still working on UC4.

Slim. They are headed towards Santa Monica , Bend Studio , and Sucker Punch announcements this year (maybe 2 at E3) , and Microsoft is a weak competitor this gen so there's no need to rush announcements anymore.

Almost certainly none. They will just have completed Uncharted 4 a month or so before then.

Sony or Naughty dog Announcing another sequel, especially for a game that doesn't even fucking need a sequel doesn't make me excited at all. In fact it makes me want to own a Playstation less. I'm sick of sequels. Give me unique stories and characters or I'm not buying their products. Like honeslty I don't see how the Last of Us a story driven game that ended its story has to have a sequel, hell I've even stopped buying games with numbers in the tittle.

I hope not. Give me something more like Jak & Daxter or Crash Bandicoot but in a new game. I'm ready for them to return to platforming, and leave the gunplay behind for a game or two. They can come back to it later on, but give the series some time. I kinda hope they leave the game as the only iteration, not all games need a sequel. Just me though.

Very slim. I'm pretty sure TLOU2 is gonna be the game they start working on once UC4 is out (in a perfect world, it won't be, but oh well), but I don't think they'll announce it as early as E3 2016.

I for one, am looking forward to getting blown by ND. Hopefully sooner than later.

ND probably has a pretty big team, I don't think the ability to blow us all is out of the question at all. I'm sure we probably have a bunch of minute men on this board anyways. Then again, those are some tough logistics. We have System Warriors all over the world, busy schedules, etc..

I dunno. Maybe I'm being a bit too optimistic here, but I think they can blow us all in time to make it to E3 with some announcements.

Uncharted 4 DLC at E3, Savage Starlight at The Game Awards or PSX 2016 or E3 2017.

Back in 2014 Evan Wells said Naughty Dog has a second AAA game in pre-production and it's shown up on the resume of several Naughty Dog developers. Plus they have over 300 people at ND now. People will be surprised when they announce a AAA game this soon but I won't be.

What if they do like fans have asked of them and reveal a new Crash Bandicoot game coming, would Sony fans put their money where their mouth is? Or would it be another case of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, where they say they want it oh-so-bad but then when it comes they don't actually follow through?

ND is cool and all... but I don't want them to blow people. I would much prefer if they used said time for working on games as opposed to giving head to every gamer.

They wont. They'll probably announce it early in 2017, have a trailer at E3 2017, show a short gameplay by the end of 2017. Then show some thrilling gameplay in 2018 E3 and maybe release it by the end of 2018 if we are lucky but most likely Q2 2019.

I've been pretty good with predicting ND announcements and releases.

Take into account that ND seems to be a one team studio again.

This will happen in 2017, not 2016.

You know what ? Ask for something new from your respective favorite companies that making the same franchises over 10/15 years now and let ND do what they know best. Ffs Naughty dog up till now has provided NEW IPs to PS consoles every single generation , most of them AAA caliber let alone multiawarded / multi GOTY all over the place.

Calling TLOU 2 a boredom or a yawn or all these things ... Are you out of your freaking mind. You are the ones playing the very same Zelda games that each version is worse than the previous more or less , almost 20 years now. Same for Mario Kart , same for Gears of War , same for Halo series , same for Smash bros , same for Tekken , COD series , Assassins and the least goes on and on ... And here you are now , asking for another NEW IP from a company that provides NEW IPs all over the place and calling a sequel to one of the most memorable and awarded game of last gen a.... boredom.

Ill welcome TLOU 2 with open arms. I really want to see how a TLOU game will run in new hardware let alone i love this post-apocalyptic atmosphere. Why not ? Why freaking not !! Its still too early for TLoU 2. They are still working on Uncharted 4 and they will probably want something more tangible to show at E3 if they are going to announce it
