It's been delayed so much it has to be good right?
The game looks fun, the online might be somewhat groundbreaking, but I don't think it's going to be goty contender, nor does it look like it aims to be.
Crackdown is being set up as a tremendous let down.... And that doesn't mean it's going to be a bad game.
Microsoft isn't on the correct planet in terms of nurturing exclusive software... They have their reasons, their console is selling, though it's being outpaced by the competition.
Crackdown represents something unique for Xbox.... Its an established exclusive franchise not named halo, gears, or Forza.... They also promised a lot of features via the cloud that will be very hard to live down if they don't deliver. The game may end up being great, but ms set it up to fail regardless.
I’m not expecting an amazing Game of the Year contender or anything but I think that it will be a pretty good game that’s a lot of fun. The last trailer looked quite promising.
This game is a loser in the making. They added some extra neon to it and called it a day. Plus, it's gonna turn out that the MP destruction is a complete lie and will be downgraded like crazy. That's what I'm looking forward to the most, because the damage control will be epic.
Latest info says Crackdown 3 is just another Overwatch clone. The game does not even have offline mode, or real single player campaign.
The series has never been good and this game has always looked troubled. It was never expected to be a big title for MS. I honestly believe that they just kept it alive to save face after cancelling other projects and not having anything else noteworthy to release.
I doubt it will be in the 80's on metacritic probably around the 70's. The games premise is a bit dated I don't think the games were that well received on 360.
It's Saints Row all over again, 0.
That's the same impression I got. Just a repetitive slog while blowing stuff up. Just Cause kind of turned into the same thing.
It has to have something that stands out because people don't really think much of it. MS situation and the promise of the power of the cloud has put it on the map. Who knows they could deliver that and make every publisher start thinking of using the power of the cloud in a bigger way.

They abandon the cloud for this game.
Doubt it'll be amazing BUT I don't play Crackdown games expecting a Naughty Dog like tremendous experience. I play them for mindless fun. Everyone bad talking Crackdown are looking at the serious wrong way. Whether good or bad you play the series for mindless fun.
Crackdown 2 sucked to many ppl but I had ALOT of fun with that game.
@Pedro: the game is getting attention because there’s very little else to talk about re:Xbox
LOL. So you are saying that Sony fanboys like yourself prefer to talk about Xbox games rather than play the six billion games on the PS4 and talk about the other 6 billions games to be released on the PS4.... Interesting.
Crackdown 3
Announced 2014, Delayed 3 years, hyped for power of the cloud and ultimate destruction, scheduled to release Feb 2019
Just Cause 4
Announced E3 2018, releasing Dec 2018
It's closest competitor releasing in a similar proximity of time, you tell me...
I thought it was the worst looking game at E3.
Lol, of course you do.
Can you tell me something that looked worse? The trailer wasn't even real gameplay. It was CGI and cut shots and still looked noticeably worse than everything else being shown.
It's been at every E3 since 2014 and they still don't feel confident enough to show an actual gameplay demo.
