most additive game ever is warhawk for ps 3 please sony reboot it on ps 5.
I remember being super addicted to L4D2 versus mode for a looong time
also, Trackmania in its various iterations
@IgGy621985: like you, I'm really into management stuff, city building, etc.
Top addicting games for me, at least in recent memory, are:
Some honorable mentions:
Kerbal Space Program.
"Lemme just get this off the ground and in orbit, won't take a few minutes...and lemme just make this one change to the rocket first".
Seven hours later: "Jool!"
The game I ever felt properly addicted to was Diablo II. I had 11,200 hours logged in that game from 2001 to 2009. Would literally play it every day for 8 years. My second most played game of all time is probably TESIV: Oblivion which I played for just over 400 hours.

11.2k hours? O-M-G congratz!
I cant wait Diablo IV!
@i_p_daily: what do you mean with jesus spots exactly?
I though you meant safe houses or those closets xhere you could revive people, haha :p
They were glitches in levels that allowed you to hide where the majority of the AI couldn't touch you, Smokers tongue and the Tanks rocks were the exception.
On the rooftop finale there is a jesus room that allows you to hide without the AI getting to you, I think you needed the Zombies to smash the door open for you.
Then there was the trees in the Harvest level, and a jesus rock in another level. Of course these were found out after I finished all levels on expert.
Just go to YouTube and type in Left 4 Dead jesus and just add rock/tree/room and you will see what I mean.

Now I get ya. Yeah I do remember a few locations that made things a bit easier.
I don't think I used many straight out glitch rooms like that. But I do remember using them once or twice.
I also remember Valve being really fast in patching those. Haha.

I think they still work, I also think they were put in the game for people to find, I mean there was one for each level, and that can't be by accident.
I checked my stats and I played the first game on & off for 2yrs, and only a year for the second game.
@i_p_daily: the first game stood out in its simplicity. The mechanics that were there worked, and everything felt so refined that nothing felt like it didn't belong. Its gameplay was perfection.
L4d2 added some variety to the mix. There were more items, unique levels with unique zombies, more special zombies, you had the melee weapons, heavy weapons,...
It was also nice how you could play all the original levels in it as well.
My favourite level was the fun fair by far. Going through that roller coaster track. I lost so many good people there, hahaha.
They also added a really great community level: cold stream. It was also L4d's hardest level. It was my goal to beat it on expert, and it was such a thrill when I finally did.
