what are the most overhyped games of alltime?

Too Human and Lair comes to mind in recent memory. I'll leave this up for open debate though. What other games were extremely hyped and weren't nearly as good as the hype.

i agree on metal gear solid. I never understood what the big deal is. It's a great production and has great production values but meh. Same with Gears. I'm playig gears 2 right now and it's really cheesy. It's a good game for production value as well. But it's cheesy as hell.

some people really like those games though so i wouldnt say they are overhyped.

Haze,Heavenly Sword,Lair...Heavenly Sword is alright though..but HAZE was a complete failure and disaster..And Lair was bad too...And the controls didn't even bother me.
