What are you getting GTA IV on?

I dont want this to be a fanboy thread. Im just saying what system are you getting it for. Me, PS3.

PS3, I own a 360 as well. So nobody go, "LAWLZ COW". I bought the core 360, where as my PS3 has 5.1 audio and 1080p video, you do the math.... My 360 is hooked up to a small 480i TV with 2.0 audio... Of course, I might buy some components for 1080p, but there's still no 5.1.wemhim

There is 5.1, just use optical.

XBox360 version for content download, better controller, and a much much greater online community

that's kinda of retarded question. ifyou own both consoles you would probably get it on the 360 because it has more content. I only own the PS3, so I will get it on the PS3.The_Gamer81

If they're pretty much equal though then it will be 360 for the extra content.

ps3...because its always been on this controller...i wish they tonned down the freaking auto aim though, it got kind of boring to just lock on to a guy and spray him with r1p2rus

what's wrong with the controlls on a 360 controller? I thought it worked great with Saints Row.

Yeah the controls were great for Saints row, but the aimingwas completely different from any GTA game. 360 for me. Just hope the extra content is worth it.

like he said, the aiming was really simple though. All you had to do was tap one button and hold down another. I think the only ones that you actually needed to aim was rocket launcher and sniper rifle. That's why i was thinking if it worked with Saints Row, GTA wouldn't be hard to figure out.

The optical output is on the component cable. It should also be on the vga cable if you choose to buy that one instead. X360 does both 5.1 and 1080p too, so that would be a bad\misinformed reason to pick the PS3 version.'

Ps. Even the old xbox did 5.1 and HD for some games, so xbox fans have been playing with quality hardware all of last gen.

ditto... got a ps3 also, but the extra content will make the game that much longer, and with GTA, you can't have too much of a good thing.

Same here and I don't think I'll own a PS3 when it comes out anyway. But if it did I'd probably stiil get it for 360 cause of the content
