What are you mostly excited about the New Xbox Experience Update?

Me? Don't know what I will or won't like, really. The ripping my games into my HDD thing isn't a big deal for me. Avatars? Lol!!! 8 Friend LAN Party? Not sure. maybe I'll like something else. Don't know really.

I think they are fully donwloaded. But, like Hazy said, don't keep up with it too closely.

Even if you burn the game on the systems HDD, i heard you still needed the disk to play, but i also saw a video of Dead risings loading time showing that the HDD loading time was slower than playing it off disk.

Only real thing im looking foward too..well..just the overall look, the original interface is getting stale and boring, its time for somthing new.

Installing games, duh! :P

and yes, they are full installs, all the data on the disc, basically a copy.

I guess the Netflix thing is the most interesting to me, considering I already have a Netflix account. But people are going to be seriously dissapointed with the selection of movies you can watch. Overall, I have only found around 30 movies that are actually worth watching, most of the movies are low budget or extremely bad, Direct-to-DVD movies or really old movies. You cant find anything like The Matrix, LOTR, Batman movies, Star Wars, nothing of the sort. You CAN watch however a lot of TV shows such as the Office or Heroes. So I guess thats pretty good, but really, the selection of movies is poor and will dissapoint a lot of people.

there are 93 movies on my queue that can be watched instantly so I'm pretty excited about it

Theres a bunch of TV shows and a few good movies like No Country for Old Men, Superbad and Ratatoiulle, but those and a few other are pretty much the only big movies you get to see. Like the other poster said, you can watch a lot of documentaries and some clasics but you I think a lot of people will be dissapointed.

Bah, see there is your problem! :P You care what other people will think! We already have netflix so there is no real negative about it, just a feature we will probably use more often.

In order of interests... 

I'm amped for the Netflix.  Hulu has me watching alot of stuff via streaming and a good portion of my queue is streamable.  Although I just purchased a second HDMI cable so I don't have to unhook my 360 to view my laptop on my TV, so when that comes 360 streaming will be less important but still cool.

I'm not amped for avatars, but I like making characters in RPGs so I'll probably have fun making one.

I like the new look and I'm hearing that it runs faster (my dashboard is slow as dirt on certain games). 

I'm mildly interested in the community games thing.

Installing games seems pointless to me.  People are saying you reduce a 10 second load to 8 seconds..  Whoa mind blowing :roll:  Especially considering you gotta spend like 10 minutes to install it... and you still need to put the disc in the drive.  I have alot of games but I only actively play like 1-2 at any given time.  The only thing I'd gain is being able to come on message boards and be like, "I've got xx games installed!!!"... which doesn't appeal to me at all.

I don't know about anything else its offering.

No doubt game installs... I want to shut up the DVD drive... Makes me glad I opted to buy an Elite.

I think the best part of it is Netflix and the dash is much faster. It's also much easier to navigate and even though it has so much information it doesn't slow down at all.

Only think I HATEEEEE here is the stupid look. And it's kewl that some of you like it. But I don't. I don't appreciate being forced to have a Mii ripoff kiddy looking avatar thing to have to look at all the time. It's dumb for someone like me and we SHOULD have the option to not have that extension of the update. Cause it honestly ruins a bit of everything for me in terms of the dashboard and Live. I like the blades. It's simple and no BS... I just want info, demos,content and that's it. Having it faster is nice but all this other crap is stupid IMOkcpp2b

Naigating with the NXE is 10X better than the blades. I don't see how you can say the blades are better.

Only think I HATEEEEE here is the stupid look. And it's kewl that some of you like it. But I don't. Awww, that's what I was looking forward to :( I wanted to install games that have long loading times time Dead Rising, Mass Effect (not really long, but they're everywhere), and Hitman Blood Money. If they don't even speed up the game then I'm not looking forward to it at all. I could care less about the avatars or new interface.

I'm excited about being able to cut loading time by ripping my games to the hard-drive. I'm also pretty jazzed about the whole Netflix integration. Bentham

I'm sorry Jesus but it's called an Opinion. I.... again I will say it again since you didn't read what I wrote apparently. IIIIIIIIIII  don't like it. Others do that's fine. But I don't like having to be forced into this crap. You like avatars great, write a book about it amazing... you like the NXE which I think is rubbish great, 2 books right there... but I don't like it. Thus it is my preference. I like the idea of being able to get what you like as appose to having to get stupid avatars which I find cheesy as hell and did you really just ask what a Mii is?

I like the new interface, don't get why you don't like it though. I don't really like the ''Mii'' idea but I think it's cool.:)
