What are you playing this weekend?

I know that SolidGame_basic is the one who usually makes these threads every weekend but since he didn't this time, I thought why not make one myself 😉

Anyways I'm playing Super Mario Bros Wonder for the first time and also Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze as well this weekend.

Persona 4. I have spent the past 2 hours mainly pressing the A button.

And I bought Stranglehold on GoG. Can not trust WB due to what they did to The Suffering there. Disgracing the memory of Midway.

Wonderful music visuals and style.... But dear God those games run on and on and on... I just don't care after a while.

The characters are so unnatural in their behavior and dialogue.🤢🤮 At least the core story is somewhat interesting... for now.

Yeah definitely, I can't stand Warner Bros when it comes to video games these days.

Also did you play Doom I + II in co-op? I had a lot of fun playing with people online.

planning on sometime playing Resident Evil 4 Remake for Playstation 4 this weekend. I Just bought the game from Walmart online an hour ago from the local Walmart store and it just arrived a few minutes ago which is was delivered to my apartment building.

It was either Resident Evil 4 Remake or WWE 2K24 to get and to play to keep me busy this entire weekend and for pretty much through September awhile

I'm at Dragon Con this year as it's my first time attending. I'm mostly there for the Star Wars events and the gaming show. But however, I took my gaming PC just in case it's needed for gaming show.

But anyway, I'm still playing Star Wars: Outlaws and Black Myth Wukong. Those are the only 2 games I'm playing now.

Trying Doom Eternal. Never played a Doom game. Gameplay is quite different than other shooters.

@nintendoboy16: How is Stranglehold? I've thought about getting it over the years, but never did. Also, does it run alright on Windows 11?

The First Descendant

Blizzard has been taking up a lot of my time with World of Warcraft: The War Within, and Diablo 4: Season 5.

When I'm not healing people with my priest and leveling my sixth seventh necromancer, I'm going to be spending time with Star Wars: Outlaw. I'm only 2-3 hours into it so far since my I've been busy this week but so far I am really enjoying it. Gamespot has really been hating on things lately and frankly I don't think their reviews are worth a fart in a windstorm. It's almost like they've forgotten how to have fun.

I recently beat the campaign of Hardspace: Shipbreakers, so I will likely spend an hour or two with that before I retire it and uninstall, and then my backburner/project game at the moment is Cities: Skylines 2.

Sorry about that good sir. Here, have a couple napkins. Seriously though, I've noticed that too. The Ashoka review really jumped out, giving it a 2. Like, it wasn't great, but a 2 should be reserved for something badly filmed, poorly acted, and confusingly edited to the point it's hard to follow what's going on. Not something perfectly coherent but with a few sort of boring episodes.

As for WB... yeah, it's frustrating before, but DAMN, under Zaslav, it is the worst. First to Cartoon Network for Film/TV, now in games, it's Midway (or, their IPs).

Not much this weekend, still on vacation in Japan. But I will be back next week and will be getting my body ready for Astro Bot’s release on Friday!

Returned to playing Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on the PS5 so will be playing more of that this weekend.

I've delayed mine due to numerous reasons, but literally just need to book and leave so can do it at the drop of a hat when needs be.

Every day is the weekend when you're out of work.

It’s great. Today is Day 9. Been to a lot of places (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka). Yesterday I was at Super Nintendo World! They really nailed the immersion. Mario Kart was cool, though it’s more of a short ride than an actual race. Eating at Toad’s Cafe was fun. Other than that, not a lot of rides or things to do other than shop. Picked up a couple of cool souvenirs including a Bullet Bill hat which got a lot of great reactions lol. Would recommend going! You wanted to go to Tokyo and Kyoto, right? For Kyoto, definitely go to Nara Park. That blew my mind! Today is Hiroshima.

I'm also on vacation and I'm at Dragon Con (here in Atlanta GA) till Tuesday. Glad you are enjoying your trip to Japan. I'll try to go there next year during Star Wars Celebration will be taking place in Japan 2025.

Lol, I know, I like history. Also going to be seeing Itsukushima Shrine which is nearby (the “floating” tori gate). Weather is nice today, but humid. Btw, Summer time isn’t the best time to see Japan imo, it’s super humid. Also, you won’t see the Sakura if you’re into that (cherry blossoms). And if you want to see Mt Fuji, summer isn’t the best time either, but I did get lucky seeing it on the bullet train. I think best time would probably be Spring/Early Spring.

I didn't know the Resident Evil 4 Remake was going to be that rough to play even in the very beginning. original game wasn't that bad where the beginning of the game the villages didn't overswarm you

I’ll be too busy working all weekend to play anything. Atleast I have space marine 2 to look forward to next weekend!

Just finished Thank Goodness You're Here on Switch... One of the funniest games I've played in years.

Now just waiting for Zelda later in the month.

Spent a day playing Botany Manor from Game Pass, fun chill one and done puzzle game. Finally finished up Escape Acadamy with a friend. Still working away at Kunitsu-Gami: Path Of The Goddess, gotta be nearing the end there. Fired up Aliens Fireteam Elite and managed to get through 50 waves of its horde mode with a rando.

Gonna try some more of Star Wars Outlaws tonight, hoping the crashing issue was addressed. And I started Deadly Premonition after applying fixes to it. So far it's bonkers and fascinating.

Don't know what i'm going to play, not really feeling anything atm.

Finally playing through Baldurs Gate 3. Might start over since I don't know how far into Act 1 I was before stopping a while ago.

Last I remember, I had to choose the above or below path after rescuing a certain NPC

I'm trying to get through the first Alan Wake and playing some Bloodstained and Dredge.

As promised here is my update, gave it a test run on PC and, as to be expected of GoG, runs fine on modern OS like Windows 11. As it HAS been a while since I played the 360 version, I think I'm gonna do a full playthrough.

Definitely worth getting before WB does something funny like they just did to The Suffering.

I just played some MGS4. Just reinstalled Alien: Isolation to give it another try.

I am playing Visions of Mana on Steam and having an AMAZING time with it! So glad I ignored the Gamespot Review!

Just finished Octopath Traveler. My favorite game this year so far. I gotta play the sequel very soon.

I am having a blast with the campaign in Call of Duty MW (the game that was recently released om Gamepass)
