What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I will be continuing my playthrough of Yakuza Like a Dragon. I'm about 14 hours in. Great game. The change to RPG is not bad, but I do hope that they treat this as a separate series. Would love to see both RPG and beat 'em up games within the franchise. As for other observations, it doesn't quite have the same tone as previous Yakuza games. Kind of feels like Yakuza x Persona or something lol. But overall I'm happy with it and will play this through to the end.

Well, after the disappointment of not getting my RTX 3070 due to some bullshit condition imposed by the shop - probably to stem demand - I think I'm going to drown my sorrow with some Dragon's Dogma. Heard rumours there's going to be a sequel, so I figured I'd revisit the game.

Though truth be told, I haven't been playing much of anything other than Warframe over the past week. I've been mostly spending my free time writing my "Agents of Halos" (interim name) story script. Think crime procedural meets Star Trek. Just been getting a sudden surge of inspiration lately; you know when sometimes writers get "Writer's Block?" I'm currently having the opposite of that. "Writer's Flood," maybe?

So yeah, the usual Warframe, maybe some Dragon's Dogma, more likely sitting in my bed with my laptop, free-writing for hours on end.

I'll be playing Mortal Kombat 11 as I'm enjoying playing Rain from the Kombat Pack 2 DLC and what can I say, I love fighting games. Still playing Mass Effect: Andromeda doing side question as the game will keep me busy until CP2077 release.

Either Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch or Yomawari: Night Alone.

@madrocketeer: I feel your pain. I'm on the backorder list for the 3070 FE and won't get it till the new year arrives😥 But at least my 2070 still has extra life😊

Man, if I had a 2070, I'd just skip all the way to RTX 40 or 50 Series instead.

Assassin's Creed

Assassins creed valhalla great so far probably about 30 hours in no end in sight enjoying every minute of it. Need for speed heat for my racing fix its ok but I've been spoilt by forza horizon no racing game comes close.

I'm going to hopefully get some time in on AC Valhalla via PS5. I platinumed Astro's Playroom. Not generally my type of game but the nostalgia of PS history was pretty fantastic.

Probably Shadowrun (Genesis), Okami (Switch), and Bloodborne. Definitely something on PC, just not sure where the mood will take me

Wish I had my Switch, but it's currently in for repair.

Will have to make due with some PC games like Hunt: Showdown, DBZF, Vermintide 2, Hades, and I just started Dark Souls III again for some reason.

Jedi: Fallen Order. I had been going through a backlog and finally got around to this game. I've really enjoyed it so far.

@xantufrog: are you playing Okami in handheld or TV mode? I'm wondering what works best myself 🤔

Just beat Shadow of the Colossus Remastered and wow, what an amazing game. Played the ps2 game back in the day and loved it as well. Now I'm not sure if I'm gonna do a new game + or play the ps3 remaster so I can compare the graphical differences between the two.

More Yakuza Like A Dragon. Also, Star Renegade caught my eye on Game Pass as recently added, considering that one.

Darksiders Genesis

Some DQXI. I only got around 15 hours in last time, and just set it by the wayside.

@R4gn4r0k: I've tried it both ways and although there's no doubt the screen is the most precise for drawing I found holding the brush button and the entire switch with one hand and taking the other hand off to draw was physically awkward. I'm getting better with the motion controls docked pretty fast (they are waaay better then the Wii motion ones)

Have to work all weekend unfortunately, but it’s about time I give my ps5 a break, I’ve been playing atleast 3-4 hrs a day since getting it. Otherwise I’d be playing CoD Cold War or spider man

Replaying Drake's Fortune.

Not very good, but enjoyable enough. The higher difficulties expose how poor the combat is. I'm playing on Crushing. It's almost pure cover shooting on the higher difficulties, since the enemies take your little health so fast. And the cover mechanics aren't good.

The sequels took themselves too seriously. This game just has ninety minutes of cutscenes. Uncharted 4 has almost three hours, plus plenty of scripted events that aren't really gameplay.

The pulp adventure feeling faded in the face of all that serious drama, in my opinion.

@ezekiel43: I was a huge fan of this series but they went so hardcore on the storytelling that it lost me since 3. Also I agree, it wasn’t so serious. Seems like this is Naughty Dog “new” direction.

Just wrapped up ac vallhalla so most likely they are billions again.

About 139 hours to complete everything besides fishing and hunting mini game as i don't really care for that stuff. But this is pretty much 100% completion besides bugged content atm which is minor stuff like a quest or two and a wealth or two that didn't work just yet but yea did them anywya.

One of those games i always look forwards too, this one is great tho a lot better then odyssey on every front besides maybe combat.

Currently Playing halo 4 on PC. First time playing it and considering 343 made this game its surprising really good, Which begs the question - why was halo 5 so dissapointing 🤔🤷‍♂️

Thank God because getting the PC parts i wanted was going to be a non runner this side of christmas and i didn't want to settle.

As for games: Mostly Monster hunter world. Some horizon. See what else i have installed on this PC too :S.

On the Switch it’ll be more Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

On the Xbox One it’ll be some more Yakuza: Like a Dragon.

I just finish with Halo 4 PC last week and I like the campaign. The game is way beautiful on PC and I did play it on 360 years ago but the MP was so disappointing, 343 turn it onto Call of Duty wannabe. Halo 5's campaign was one of the worst campaign, I struggle playing it. Halo 5 was disappointing but the MP was good this time around.

Demons Souls

how are you liking this? (assuming you started it already).

I had a pretty good time with it when it came out last year, game didn't get much attention but I thought it was better than Darksiders 3

I'm not gonna have much time for games but AC Valhalla is what i'm gonna be playing until Cyberpunk comes out

about 30 hours in and largely having a good time with it, apart from the urban section in London that reminded me of why I dislike the platforming controls in AC so much

I've been playing a lot of Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age on Xbox One X, I like the 60fps enhancements to one of my favorite games of all time.

Picked up Doom Eternal for $20 and I'm enjoying it so far, seems like my kinda game. I hated Wolfenstein because you had to manually press a button to pick up health, armor and ammo. I also just hated the feel of it, and I bought both of them. Doom Eternal is much, much better and I never played 2016 Doom.

Picked up Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition and I don't like it. I can tell it's a great game but I don't like it. I want Diablo 3 again, I need to find a copy for my Xbox because I sold my PS4 and my PS4 copy.

I'm playing through Skyrim for the first time. Playing it on Xbox One X in 4K.

Also replaying Fallout 4 GotY, this time in 4K. One of my favorite games of all time.

Lastly, been playing Streets of Rage 4 to unlock all the classic characters on my new Series X controller with a great d-pad improvement for Streets of Rage.

yeah me too. i somehow ended up convincing myself to buy the master chief collection off the steam sale this week, even though i've already got it for the xbox, because i fancied playing odst on pc. it all happened so fast, it's a bit of a blur but here we are

Just picked up TLOU2, so probably that.played it for a few hours, and It seems super cringe with all the woke stuff that is showed in everywhere. That being said the base game and story is still super solid so I am sure I’ll enjoy it!

I have this but i'm not going to play it until one of my friends decide to buy it as i want to play it in co-op.

yeah, game looks beautiful on PC ( especially in ultrawide ) and the campaign is great, right up there with Halo 3 and Reach's campaign imo. So i dont know why halo 5 campagin was so trash - 343 really dropped the ball with guardians

I'm playing Elex which I haven't played for a very long time and I'm a bit perturbed that the complete lack of hand holding is very hard to get used to. I have no clue where I'm going or where to go next or why I'm going anywhere at all. Tell me what to f***ing do you f***sticks.

AO Tennis 2 on PS Now.

Once you get the hang of it after 2.5 hours it gets a little boring. Like the saying goes, real life is boring too. Unlike a lot of tennis games there is no real cheat move, although AO’s cheat move still takes a moderate skill to pull off and can’t always be used.

I like the game overall and I am 6 hours into it. It is fun to level up and the game has moments of excitement with pretty good gameplay. Can’t wait to see what they do with AO3 on PS5, if they do a good job, since AO2 is a solid foundation.

Sounds interesting becoming a millionaire. I’ve heard other people on here praise it as well so maybe I’ll look into the game on a deep sale.

Too bad PS Now doesn’t have any Yakuza games to download only stream which sucks for me.
