What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I will NOT be playing Cyberpunk lol. Will wait for the PS5 complete edition on that one. But I did finish up Yakuza Like a Dragon which was awesome, and that completes my playthrough of the mainline Yakuza franchise (0-7). I'm now onto Resident Evil 3 Remake, which I'm enjoying so far (already halfway through). And then I'll probably continue Crash 4 and DOOM Eternal.

Nothing but Cyberpunk 2077 all day weekend long. The only game I'm focusing on completing it and so far, I'm having a blast...for the most parts but I'm still in honeymoon mode so things could change.

I'm in a Remedy mood lately. Been playing Alan Wake and Quantum Break. I'm looking to finishing QB this weekend and moving to Control. I played AW and QB before, but I noticed that I appreciate the storytelling more this time around. Can't wait to start Control with all the great things I've been hearing about it.

Gonna finish Soul Axiom and then I’m free to play whatever I want 😁. Goonna give it a good think 🤔

Control. It's the only game I have right now to take my brand spanking new RTX 3070 for a proper spin - at least one that I feel doesn't also need a SSD to be at its best. My Samsung 970 Evo Plus should arrive on Tuesday. Then I can throw Cyberpunk at this beast.

I tended to keep that trend with CPU cores and RAM sizes too, but it hasn't always worked.

@madrocketeer: nice. I think my first graphics accelerator must have been our S3 Virge - I believe it was the beastly 4mb Vram model 😅 i remember my 16mb riva tnt2 just mopping the floor with it when we eventually upgraded

While everyones on cyberpunk I'm playing greedfall on gamepass not bad so far if a little janky.

Funny thing is, it was never intentional in my case. It was always a matter of timing, budget and more recently, size. If for example, the RTX 3070 and the RX 6800 had swapped RAM sizes and nothing else was changed, I would still have bought the 3070, because the RX 6800 is well beyond my budget, and I'm iffy about its triple-fan setup fitting in my mini-ITX case.

So yeah, that's why I kept that list; the entirety of it was pure accident.

I'm getting that same feeling right now, in fact. I tried throwing maxed out Forza Horizon 4 at my 3070, and it just devoured it without breaking a sweat. HWMonitor showed it was using a mere fraction of its power. Felt almost embarrassed I tried to test it with that game.

Tuesday. That's the day I give it something to really chew on.

Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity, Cyberpunk 2077, Creativerse, League of Legends (my main champ Anivia got a BIG update), and Genshin Impact. (I like a bit of variety)

Dragon Quest something or other on the Xbox One?

Will be playing more Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Yakuza: Like a Dragon. Would like to try and fit in a bit more Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity as well.

@SolidGame_basic: well, just to be clear it actually IS a digital copy. That's the frustrating part - it's a box with a GoG key inside it. But I shot myself in the foot because in order to get the steelbook i had to order it this way. Otherwise I could have been playing the same GoG version already just from their store :-P

Just at the beginning of Act 2 and the game really opens up. think its going to be a while before I get back to the main story

I've had a few bugs but its not as bad as expected given the uproar. Definitely less buggy for me than the launch of Bethesda's last couple major open world games, not that that is saying much. Bug-wise its not that far off from Witcher 3's launch state from my personal experience about 9 hours in.

performance is definitely more of an issue, i've got it running OK on my system with some sacrifices but really wish I could get hold of a new GPU. Reminds me of my early PC gaming days when I couldn't afford high end parts and was constantly struggling to run games.

Gonna be jumping from RE3Make, Monster Hunter World, & Burnout Paradise City Remastered...

Or, I just might open this Nintendo Switch I bought last week...

Monster hunter world. just made my uragaan armour set. need to take on some elder dragons. the next time bezelguese (yeah i'm not checking that spelling :P) interrupts a hunt...that's it. i'm going after him.
