What are you playing this weekend, SW?

It’s been retro for me the last couple weeks. Just recently finished MGS Twin Snakes and Silent Hill 2 for the first time. Loved Silent Hill 2, it’s a GOAT! Twin Snakes was good, but original was better. Next retro game will be Viewtiful Joe, but for now, time to go back to NEO The World Ends With You.

There is an event on Steam about upcoming games demos, so i guess that would be.

This weekend I'll be playing TMNT: Shredder's Revenge I got on Steam and Starship Troopers: Terran Command I pick up on GoG. Those two will be my main focus if I'm not distracted by anything else of course lol.

Well first I’ll check out Astro’s Playroom then check out a bit of Horizon: Forbidden West. However I really should play Horizon: Zero Dawn first so I’ll likely mostly play that. 😎

Would you recommend Lego Star Wars? Does it hold up all the way through?

That juggling padawans/Friendly units looked fun though.

I started up Observer System Redux last night, played the original a ton and System Redux when it launch, but the game hadn't been patched and it was still rough on Xbox Series X without RT, some of the first patches or states allowed for 4K to be turned on/off and same for chromatic aberration and I believe variable resolution option was later added to improve stability, I even dabbled after RT was added but it has improved a ton since then. Funny enough the game doesn't seem to need all these graphic options anymore as stability seems solid. I still run with variable resolution on though so maybe they without just to see if it still needs that. Anyhow, yeah, more of that for sure.

Maybe fire up the new TMNT game too.

Continue to play the Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes demo so to prepare for the full game if Idecide to purchase it. This will depend on reviews o the game.

GOG was recently giving away Venetica, a Eurojank Fable-like, which reminded me that I already bought it. Gonna check it out again. Can't remember why I never played it.

That, and continuing with my HZD fourth play-through.

Things are not going smoothly. Forgot my PSN ID password so requested a reset multiple times from multiple devices and it’s been 3 and a half hours with still no email received. It happened about 3 years or so before and didn’t have a problem with it. 😔

I'll be playing some of that shitty game, no mans sky. And then some more of smt3. This weekend will be tight for me. It will be alot of time in the real world, unfortunately. Socializing, BBQ, going on a trip, and playing some real world sports. Maybe you should look into doing some of that solid??

Played a bit of Astro’s Playground. It’s a cute and fun little collectathon kind of game. Nice little bonus and something to show off the features of the controller. Definitely the best PlayStation controller, I’ll give it that.

Installing Horizon: Zero Dawn Complete Edition. Will try that out next.

Still waiting for that email so I can reset my password. It’s kind of funny how I just don’t want to play too much until I can do it when I’m logged into my account. Want to have all my gaming activity reflected on there.

@Archangel3371: its true. It's not only big and heavy but also ugly. It's going to ruin the look of your entertainment set imo.

Astros playground is a solid tech demo of the controller. Of all the games i used after, none used the capability of the controller as well. I think tlou and tlou2 did a decent job of it though, in a real actual game.

sekiro. it's not as pick-up-and-play as other from titles. tried it briefly several months ago and near the start i ended up in a flashback memory on a burning estate. that's not happened this time so feel like ive missed something important.

@simple-facts any good? watched a few streams of it and looked pretty good, although they were playing campaign online and getting relentlessly invaded from other players which looked annoying

This was such a low-key release. Haven't seen anyone talking about it.

Neon White and LumbearJack, both on Switch. Loving both so far... this is why I love Indies so much, something different instead of the same old sh*t.

FF7 Remake. Its release on steam was a nice surprise. Working day 1 on linux was an even nicer surprise (Seems to be working fine for me too). I just dipped my toe in yesterday but so far so good.

Nioh 2. I'm really enjoying it so far.

The game is MASSIVE, and it's such a fun world to hang out in and fight in.

There is. But it has shrunk over the years. Right now there are more experienced players than newbies.
