I’ll be continuing my playthrough of Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I’m about 13 hours in and I love the battle system and open world. Graphically, this is one of the most impressive Switch games to date.
How about you, SW?

I will be playing two GOATs.
The Last of Us Part I (I'm 20 hours in and still not finished... I'm thorough as **** tho). Will play it on NG+ to pick up whatever I need for the platinum plus I'm looking forward to another run anyway.
Metal Gear Solid V. 230 hours into my platinum run. hardest platinum of my life.
kinda burnt right now need a new big hitting game this is bad
cowabunga sucked and wow classic is kinda boring
shredders revenge shoulda been more expensive than cowabunga wayyyyy better game
Total War: Warhammer III (patch 2.1 just came out), with a side of Spider-Man or Dreamfall: Chapters if I have time to spare.
Hunt: Showdown, as usual.
Also currently playing some Vermintide 2 and Gunfire Reborn with friends.
Might also continue my Claire run in RE2R.
Ya, you've been mentioning Hunt often. What do you like most about that game?
Xbox One: Cowabunga Collection and Immortals: Fenyx Rising. Am enjoying both.
PS5: not entirely sure but have been bouncing around between Street Fighter V, Castlevania Requiem Collection, and Dragon’s Crown Pro so I might play a bit of one of those as well.
I'm competing in a Spartan race this weekend.
14 miles
30 obstacles
7000 feet of elevation. (the most I've ever done in a single day)
I'll have my steam deck with me for the hotel tonight. Will likely play some more dead space 1 and maybe a few runs of rogue legacy. I downloaded Dishonored to play after I finish dead space.
There's also a good chance I just read a bit. Depends how I feel. I've been pouring through Walden by Henry David Thoreau. Incredible book. Like a guide on how to LIVE!
Stern Pinball Arcade. Maybe some Pinball FX 3. Both on Switch.
Also gonna play some real pinball on location.
Pokemon Shield. Beat the game a few weeks ago but still working on completing the Pokedex. Also might jump back into Ghost of Tsushima and maybe some Kingdom Hearts.
Still Xenoblade 3. I'm up to about a 3rd of the way through Chapter 6. Something like 82 hours racked up now and still really enjoying it. Certainly a huge improvement over X2. I still havent fully decided where i'd rank it against 1 and X though. Biggest complaints really are some very long cutscenes (Kojima would be proud) and the world itself lacks the awe of XC1 or XCX imho.
I do side quests n stuff during the week and push the main story along over the weekend. It's a nice way to play it i think. Even though it's a huge game, I can still get some stuff done in shorter playing sessions.
I'm going to be sad to see the back of this one :(. Still expansion next year so that's nice :).
Hunt: Showdown, as usual.
Also currently playing some Vermintide 2 and Gunfire Reborn with friends.

It's immensely satisfying to play. Checking yourself why would be faster than me explaining, but here's some quick thoughts.
The gameplay is very unique. It has this great mix of hardcore and arcadeyness to it, as opposed to something like Escape From Tarkov (if one should compare it to something) which is too hardcore for my tastes.
I really enjoy the setting, western with supernatural stuff. Two things that go along really well, imo. And the guns, man. There are no guns in any other game that feel this good.
Currently there are 3 maps in the game. All of them are really well designed. Big enough to always make you learn new things about them, small enough to not be annoying.
And don't get me started on the sound design. The best sound I've ever heard in any game. I'm not being hyperbolic, it's insane.
They're constantly updating the game, balancing and adding new things to keep it fresh. To anyone that has even an ounce of interest in the game, I implore you to try it out.
I’d like to try DBFZ again. I just don’t like team fighters, since I don’t dedicate time to learning 3 characters. But maybe I’ll just use Vegeta/Goku/another Saiyan and play against the CPU. I’d get destroyed if I went online.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection, played through TMNT Arcade, Turtles in Time Arcade and Manhattan Project with God Mode. Definitely had a blast with those games. Tried the Gameboy games and holy cow they are hard. Played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for NES and passed the dam level.
@SolidGame_basic: persona4 golden on steam deck. Its been a long time since I beat the game and I forgot how freaking long it was. Im 35 hours in, and its a 90 hour game apparently.
Im going to try and continue with as dusk falls as well. Its not my type of game, but since I started it, I want to finish it.
Going for the platinum to Alien Isolation. Got two new trophies last night. I checked the trophy list to see the last time I got a trophy from it, and it was 2014. Wow. Eight Years ago. It only took me eight years to finally go for the platinum. I also think it says a lot about the game that I'm still going back to it. How else am I going to get my Alien fix? T_T
If I get any playing done, it will be on yakuza 0, such a great game that embodies everything good I love about jrpg and open world games!
I just repurchased BF2042 on sale for $26cad. Anyone has any opinion on the matter? Like, what kind of human being purchased this garbage twice? Who does that?
@hardwenzen: lol I recently repurchased battlefield 2042, but I got it for $10 lol
How? I was searching for a used copy, thinking they'd be like $5 at this point, but they're going for the same price as new when on sale, which was $23cad before taxes. So not only did i buy it twice, which is feeding EA's ass, but even worse, i bought the second copy at my local gamestop because walmart had no more copies left. Never in my life did i feel dirtier. Today i feel pathetic. Eww. EWWWWWW.
@hardwenzen: GameFly. They are selling it used with free shipping.
Must be for the US only. They're $30 here.
Star Citizen: been having a lot of fun lately. Usually I check in every few months and play for a week or two, but of late I've been playing a lot more.
Mount and Blade 2: got a craving for melee medieval combat recently.
Farthest Frontier: survival city-builder

Those 3 words should never be used in the same sentence.
Anyone playing Splatoon 3?
I am, but not much. I'm only level 4. I like using the dualies; they were my favourite weapon in Splatoon 2.
@blackacezero777: Such an amazing game. Top 5 all time favourite for me. I am still hoping for a remake, but if FF7 is going to be three parts that are 3 years apart and then FF8 and FF9 are ahead...
Still playing DQ XIs on my Steam Deck, amazing game! Also started playing some Sleeping Dogs DE on it too.
Played BF2042 for the first time in like half a year. What a shit game. Why did i buy it again? FFS.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond, finally beat the Elite 4 and made it to the final Pokemon Elite member. Definitely took me out with her psychic Pokemon though I am not sure how I did it getting to her. Just had tons of hyper potions, etc though my team isn't powerful enough like mid 60's and 70's. Game definitely feels hard. Probably look for a guide on Pokemon team I need.
