What are you playing this weekend, SW?

I’ll be finishing up Bayonetta 3! Great game and one of the best action games out there. Platinum gave us an excellent trilogy which is hard to achieve. How about you, SW? What are you playing this weekend?

Gonna build a PC. Not looking forward to that.

Going to go hard on p4g. I might be close to the end now. Plus a bit of bayonetta 1, some uncharted 4 on my deck. Also, started playing p5r on my Xbox. One thing to say about p5r is it looks absolutely beautiful on the Xbox. Atlas obviously put a ton of effort into this port, it must be at 4k res. A real treat seeing this game looking so nice.

If I get the garage to gym conversion finished, I will be playing a movie type game like God of War as I can play that while exercising

If I don't it will be Call of duty and more Grounded.

Gotham Knights, Bayonetta 3, P5R

I finally finished Xenoblade 3. Great game overall. A vast VAST improvement over it's predecessor.

So it's back to finishing FF7 Remake and it's expansion + Horizon Zero Dawn + it's expansion (i recently upgraded my PC so time to put it through it's paces too).

Still waiting for my Bayo 3 copy to arrive .. in the meantime I'm playing Kena 😊

@Litchie: actually, I recently built a pc. I had a huge number of problems this time around. 2 different motherboards giving me issues, both of which were my fault end of the day. Not seating the ram properly on the first mobo, and for the second one I didn't apply thermal paste well enough on cpu, which caused the computer to crash and bios to corrupt for whatever reason. I spent too much time digging into it, and all because of minor issues that a pc builder who does it regularly wouldn't make the same mistakes doing.

Even though it was frustrating, I still enjoy building computers, and even the entire process. End of the day though, as you get older you realize that time is more important and I would have rather just spent $50 to pay the shop to do it for me.

I'll be finishing Signalis and after that Bayo3.

I was supposed to be playing Bayo already but Gamepass dropped Signalis so I gave priority to that.

Yeah, it's a hassle. Sucks when there's something wrong and you don't understand what. Very frustrating. This time I'm gonna do some form of cable management as well to keep it nice and tidy in there, so it's gonna take longer than usual. Can imagine it's gonna take me around 4-5 hours to do, given I don't do anything wrong. But I think it should be pretty straight forward..

Awesome news man! What resolution and framerate are you aiming to play at?

@R4gn4r0k: Only got a new case and PSU so far, so I'm just gonna take my other current parts and put them into the new case. Then I'll be aiming for a new GPU for the next purchase and 1440p/60+fps. Nothing too fancy.

Nothing this week and the rest of the year. I am more interested in the upcoming midterm elections this upcoming Tuesday and preparing for the peak work season this month. I expect to work six days a week, ten hours a day during peak season.

I still need to finish Yookah Laylee, but I'll probably start Resident Evil 2 Remake platinum trophy run.

Probably some Fire Emblem Warriors TH, might play some OW2.

This week, going to play some classic, Ape Escape 1 and 2

Definitely more Bayonetta 3. Might try to fit in some more Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and/or Persona 5 Royal.

God of War(2018) and Village maybe at least make It to the second sister.

I'm playing Henry Cavill's favourite game.

Dipped my toe in Yakuza series, started with 0. Ridiculous.

@ghosts4ever: ooff. What happened to cinematic movie games?? Uncharted 4 is a great game though. Way better than walking simulator God of War.

@Litchie: 90% of my pc build issues is with not seating ram properly or something to do with the cpu. If you take your time on those two things, the rest is pretty straight forward. Some tips:

-Wipe off the stock thermal paste, and apply something good, especially if it's an AMD cpu. The stuff AMD uses is trash.

-Don't be stingy with the thermal paste either. I think the 5 star pattern is the best way to do pasting, but the X form is decent too.

-Make sure to check before hand which metal slots on the back of your case that you're going to remove for the gpu. Remove those slots before you screw down the mobo.

-clip the ram sticks on both ends. Thus might sound obvious. But I've done it only one side...so yeah.

That should be helpful.

Hopefully I can finish up Persona 5 Royal. Game is starting to wear out my patience in the sections it restricts the players freedom and has lengthy story exposition moments when that happens. The game is best where players have freedom to not be bogged down by any one thing and is less so when it drags on with any one thing too long. I desire replaying it with NG+ bonuses but will likely hold off for a while to play other things.

God of War 2018 in preparation for RAGNAROK!!!!!

Iconoclasts on my iPad Air using Amazon Luna. Has worked very well so far. Hoping to finish it before my free trial ends, but if not, I might keep it a little longer. The game is really good. This year has been the year of Metroidvanias for me.

I might also pick up Signalis soon for Switch.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Been wanting to get into this series forever and a day.

Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord. I haven’t played a game this much, 4 hours a day, in quite a while.

Mostly working this weekend but if I catch some downtime at home I’ll try to platinum Gundam SD Battle Alliance and rip some Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2

To me that was the game's greatest weakness. Pacing lol.

Still working my way through Bayonetta 3... such a good game. Has some of the best action sequences of any game I've played. Platinum are masters at it!
